theres a big rabbit hole u can dive into when u look for the "perfect pad"
but generally speaking it just boils down to how fast or slow you want the experience to be (which also coincides with your mouse/mouse feet).
here is a good resource for referencing and comparing a bunch of good pads
i'd say a direct and affordable upgrade from a qck would be an aqua control II, but honestly anything in that green column will probably suit you
i personally cant choose between the artisan hien xsoft, LGG venus, aqua control +, or the gamesense rush :)
gauntlet warmup map for all classes
demo and soldier would hit a certain amount of airshots before teleporting to a jump course, maybe rollouts(?)
scout would do a certain amount of damage to ammomod bots under x amount of time, then a dodging course(?)
medic has airshot/fast paced arrows to hit, while or before dodging soldier bombs

good demoman, plays his role well. biggest weakness is his positioning, which at its worst can easily be fixed. greatest strength is his communication.

This wasn't the way I was planning on posting on this thread, but I am posting on behalf of Deimos:
Due to an IRL situation, he most likely won't be able to play for an undetermined amount of time. I can assure you that he and his family are okay, but are in a rough spot right now. Deimos has said himself that he is hopeful in spite of his position and hopes to come back as soon as he is able to. Forever, and especially now, he has full support from his friends both online and offline. I'll keep up-to-date with significant progress and post as need be.
this was probably chris' maxframes/comanglia's toaster config combined with mat_showlowresimage 1, but showlowresimage only works in sv_cheats 1
the most similar thing you can do would be to play with a nvidia inspector/radeon pro LOD bias
