such a natural sounding vibrato! your voice is pretty c: thanks for introducing me to red molly. can you tell me where to find the arrangement you used?
This episode really reminded me that Morty is a genuinely vulnerable kid, and it seems like every experience he has sort of builds up as he's a little more reluctant to blindly help rick like he was in the first episode. For the past few episodes he's demanded incentive, or Rick has had to, like, strike a deal or something.
The fact that he just gets so traumatized and seems so incapable of handling all the crap Rick puts him through reminds me of Fry from Futurama a little bit. That show had a lot more optimism to it though, and there's a lot of Fry being totally okay with the future, especially after he starts to get used to it. Morty doesn't always adapt that well, and this episode's ending really showcases that. Futurama would have handled an episode about alternate realities a little different I think. The ending would have been more chipper, or ended with everyone just disregarding the other reality and somebody saying something funny. At the end of this one I just felt really bad for Morty. As opposed to writing a show about zany cartoon characters living with a mad genius in a static universe, they've written Morty as a real person stuck in a family of pretty mild mannered cartoon characters living with a mad genius, and every episode seems to have some consequence. The juxtaposition is pretty unlike any animated show I've watched.
It's way more than I expected from this show after seeing the first few episodes, as funny as they were. I'm really excited to see more. If the show continues to follow this pattern, I don't think it'll have the longevity of Futurama, or Family Guy, or South Park, or the Simpsons. But that might be a good thing.
music + sleep = enough to keep you busy for at least 50% of the plane ride
also books are always a good idea. catch up on some reading if you have something on your backlog.
flippersobe_shrtYour move, cevo.
What does this mean? ESEA didn't make this an incredible grand final, the players, casters, and everyone involved in the production (truktruk <3) made it incredible.
esea provided a venue and a lan for them to play at, you at least have to give them credit for that.
no esea=no lan
edit: at least for now
That's true. I guess I was just saying that the actual quality of the lan wasn't reliant on ESEA. A lan as amazing as this can be hosted by CEVO in the future. But yeah, as far as the actual existence of the lan, credit goes to ESEA.
shrtYour move, cevo.

AloSecI think most people are upset because this girl probably makes enough dosh to support herself while other people are struggling through school/living with student loans/generally in a bad spot financially.
That's pretty silly then. I don't see how someone can look at a person's success, regardless of how they came into it, and harbor nothing but anger towards that person for being in a good spot, or catching a break, or being at the right place at the right time.
I'm not saying what she does is admirable or anything, but it's nothing to make a fuss over. Some people work harder for their money than others. Some people have more money than others. Life isn't fair. She makes more money than I do working two jobs by showing off her cleavage and playing games for a couple hours a day. Oh well.
OblivionageOkay let me give you an example.
Let's say personA streams every day for a year while putting on an entertaining and interactive show.
PersonB does the same except puts out mediocre content with much less interactions and if so, it'll be to flame the person.
They both get the same amount of viewership give or take. Idk man it speaks for itself.
I definitely see where you're coming from, but as a third party I really don't give a shit if this kaceytron chick is using her tits to make easy money by just flashing her baps and playing video games at a below average level while pretending to be a ditz. That's her choice, and if I was in her shoes, I would do the exact same thing.
I guess if you're "Person A" you're allowed to be irritated that all of your work, dedication, and talent is being eclipsed by somebody who's comparatively putting forth way less effort and much worse content than you but, I mean, sex sells. It'll always be an easy out if you want popularity or money without really trying, especially if you're seeking attention or money by appealing to gamers, and the fact that she plays LoL amplifies the amount of attention and money that she gets. It's just smart, and I don't really see how a third party who's completely unaffected by her choice to approach streaming in this way can hold this against her.
Besides, in this scenario I would certainly consider Person A to have the superior stream and his would be the one I would support. Person A would also have a more loyal and pleasant fanbase; and if he's a good streamer, then he's streaming for his fans, even if he doesn't have as many followers as the lazy troll who's flashing her tits. He shouldn't care about his peak concurrent viewers or how much money he's making; he should care about whatever intimate following that he's created. A good streamer is someone who cares more about the communal aspect of streaming more than the monetary aspect. So really, why should he care that Person B is fostering some disgusting cesspool of a community full of desperate teenagers and people who just want to make fun of her for being an idiot? Unless he's in it for the money then I doubt he'd want any of the traffic Person B is getting.
Just my two cents.
OblivionageI think it's because she knows men can't resist a pair of boobs and takes advantage of that fact to make money instead of putting out actual content.
Don't get me wrong, all girls aren't successful because they show their breasts on twitch it's just the few that do mainly in the more popular games like league that piss most people off.
Why does it piss people off?
I'm not so into the gift giving or the snow (actually, fuck snow) but godDAMN do I love the music. On December 1st I started listening to my collection of different covers of the same damn jingle and it NEVER GETS OLD. I hum along, I sing along, I just engorge myself on holiday cheer in the form of music.
(and yes my friends hate having me around during the christmas season.)
Stimpackmaybe try waiting a week or so if any big christmas deals come up
this, and also post-christmas sales can be pretty good from what I've heard. I usually hear that black friday and cyber monday have the best sales, but you still can't go wrong with the holiday season.

Check out other budget builds (specifically ones in your price range), or you could make a thread that uses the template on the right sub bar. This one on the front page might be a good thread to keep an eye out for.
Note that these are all amateur PC builders, so don't starting buying parts based on the first build suggestion you see.
after i saw ggglygy's post i felt pretty stupid about overanalyzing the situation so much. i don't mean to backpedal though. even though the OP was like 90% a joke, i saw a lot of genuine irritation in the replies and that makes me wonder why people don't actually try to do something about the terrible admins that are plaguing mixnahl. *shrug* i guess it's none of my biz since i don't really play anymore.
Saberwhy can't funny shit happen more
all this 'drama' devolves into people arguing about feminism recently
i don't see where feminism was brought up in this topic, but i definitely killed whatever humor can come out of the drama this topic was stirring (drama being defined as bullying other members of the community)
sry guise
LennonLOL dude that conversation happened in IRC and through mumble with plenty of other people around that wasn't private but talking out of your ass and getting mad works to.
ah ok. there were only two parties so it seemed like a private convo. regardless, tons of private chatlogs are posted on this website and people are always down to hound people over it. and my point still stands that insulting someone behind their back in a private conversation doesn't negate that fact that you insulted someone. (in fact it, you know, makes it a lot worse.)
