#8 lf a scout mentor in Mentoring

What level mentor/what level do you play? I'm not sure if you're asking for like actual scout advice for high open + or just the basics.

#96 Short Circuit fix in TF2 General Discussion
Watsky>Updated the Short Circuit
Damage lowered
Consumes 15 metal per projectile destroyed
Can no longer fire underwater
Fixed a bug with orphaned particles

The big man up top heard our prayers.
The question is, is it a good nerf?

no.

You can still spam it like insanely.
The damage wasn't the problem and neither was the metal cost. It was the fire-rate.

#78 What do we need to do to make TF2 E-Sports bigger? in Esports

Why not just let the scene grow? Like improve the game and give it exposure. It has been growing thus far let's just continue what we're doing by hosting events, having lans, sal plugging tf.tv through donations on girl gamer streams, etc.

Still can be abused a bit but wrangler/pistol is probably a solid alternative now or vice versa

obe_OblivionageI think it's because she knows men can't resist a pair of boobs and takes advantage of that fact to make money instead of putting out actual content.

Don't get me wrong, all girls aren't successful because they show their breasts on twitch it's just the few that do mainly in the more popular games like league that piss most people off.

Why does it piss people off?

Okay let me give you an example.

Let's say personA streams every day for a year while putting on an entertaining and interactive show.

PersonB does the same except puts out mediocre content with much less interactions and if so, it'll be to flame the person.

They both get the same amount of viewership give or take. Idk man it speaks for itself.

Renheti feel like i should also say that it's primarily the male audience's fault that she is successful. i guess you can blame successful female streamers for being female if you want to be intolerant for no real reason, but you have to actually stop to consider who decided to watch and support them to begin with.

arent there male streamers who play shirtless on cam sometimes idk what the big deal is i guess

Also to seagull's response to brad, I'd imagine the game is getting stale because you've been playing it for years on end and have been in the top level of tf2, not because the game hasn't changed it up with class limits/weapons. To newer 6s players we enjoy the game and will continue to enjoy it until we get tired of it like most ex-invite players.

It's the grind in everything. Once you reach the top of anything it eventually becomes boring. There's a limit to how long something stays fun as sad as that is.

That's my philosophy anyway.

reillyPYYYYYOURStop banning weapons, stop limiting classes, stop alienating the community from the game itself.

There's a reason why the pub community is alienated from the comp community and that's because not everyone wants to play competitively. Instead of trying to assimilate both communities together, enhance them separately. Comp should be just that, competitive. It is very precise on weapon bans and balances to keep the game balanced and fun. (for those that like comp 6s)

Plenty of people already play HL and that's pretty much the closest thing to pubs in comp tf2 (no offense meant)
