I think he could compete in IM as soldier or medic with the right team. Some people dislike him because of his personality, but from the few times I've talked to him recently I'd say he's improved in that regard. Worth a tryout imo.

Beating a team like brackets that had only 4 legitimate wins this season (2 ffws and 10 losses), doesn't mean that you would do well in IM or that you are qualified at all. Same thing goes for dheros. I would rather give the roster to a team that actually earned it by doing moderately well in open playoffs than give it to an open level team that didn't even take the time to play in open. That's just my opinion though. If someone wants to give you a roster that's their decision.

There will always be people who dislike or even hate you, but you can't let the opinions of others affect your decisions/attitude so easily. Especially when they are just strangers over the internet.

You don't have to practice taking less damage from rocket jumps. You can play exactly the same in a dm server jumping and taking 40 damage instead of jumping and taking 15.

However you do have to practice hitscan in order to improve. And like blank said, if you don't practice your hitscan you won't be able to use a shotgun well when it would be beneficial. (i.e. defending gpit B)

Don't limit your abilities ingame because you're too lazy or too close minded to practice something.
