milehighmilitiaill never understand why people get excited for videocards that are more than $300.

I don't even get excited I just buy them randomly to piss off my friend at work.

#19 Interesting New idea for a cell phone in Off Topic

I don't see why everyones so upset about a new phone concept. I think it's a neat idea. Definitely does have practical applications. Field workers carry a work and personal cellphone all the time. I absolutely despise how much money phone companies charge for the "all new" phones.

#249 ESEA S15 NA Invite Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

Yuki the team hasn't played with the same roster for 3 years... The swapped classes, brought in different players. Is it unreasonable to think their coordination could be off?

That's just wrong. Deeply sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how terrible this must be.

I'm going to die of a blood clot if Salamancer doesn't start casting again.

#84 Things that remind you of the 90s in Off Topic

Fzero I'm curious as to what makes you think I didn't grow up during the dial up era. I think I've played with you once ever, I think you're confusing me for somebody else.

Honestly, I don't think you are of age for this.

I may act like an 11 year old but I grew up playing on the commodore 64/amiga.

Why are you adding Laser mice? They're awful compared to optical.

That's pretty well negligible. If your laser mouse is awful, it's because that particular sensor is bad and not the technology in general. I've never had an issue with mine misreading or cutting off or anything, on any surface.

EDIT: To clarify, laser and optical are essentially the exact same technology. One of them generates EMR through an LED, the other does through a laser. They both read them in the same way.

I like my Steelseries mouse because it's sturdy and comfortable as fuck (rubberized Sensei raw). The accel is barely noticeable, you can still build muscle memory for it just as easily as anything else. It's a lot less of an issue than the angle snapping my logitechs have had.
There is not a single good laser mouse out there. You can't get used to the acceleration on ADNS-9500/9800 mice because it's not linear but more like a sinus wave.

That's what clockwork needs. Sensitivity changing mouse by design.

#27 FREE 512 Slot Teamspeak 3 Server For Any & All in TF2 General Discussion

I've used teamspeak in the past and preferred it over mumble. Very easy to set up and never had a single technical issue with the program. There were times where I simply had to use it over mumble because mumble just wasn't working properly.
