I assume the xl2420t is on sale to get rid of old stock. The xl2420te is the equivalent new model. Also, the xl2420tx mentioned in the OP has the 3D IR emitter built in.
Would have been nice to see them roll this out into the TF2 Beta first. Seems like there are a lot of issues that were noticed almost immediately by the public.

i set up rivatuner with some custom hotkeys to change gamma settings in windowed mode. it also comes in handy in other games and watching some streams that are a bit too dark
All led backlit monitors strobe the backlight to achieve brightness settings <100%, albeit usually at much higher rates than 120hz. Some people will be more sensitive to it than others.

seanbslyi use the gamecom 780, plantronics. it has a similar 7.1 surround sound thingamabob, and i assure you- it's awesome.
I tried using the Dolby crap on my 780 and it completely ruined all sense of directionality by smearing things in reverb
nothing sinister in loperts script, its a staple q3tdm script ported over to tf2 where it is significantly less useful. not sure why anybody would be upset about a script that requires manual intervention to communicate a number to your teammates
the sensor placement on the zowie fk might be further back compared to whatever your old mouse was, which would result in a feeling of lower sensitivity at the same dpi, especially if you pivot on wrist a lot
oh yea also nice one dana, heres my font version of the same crosshair
using some small mods on yahud blank lower
health/ammo - increased to size to 72, 255 opacity
added quake live crosshair 7 with red flash on damagedplayer
killfeed font size 11
bold/shadow on damage
probably other things i forgot
using a zowie fk on a puretrak talent right now and I haven't noticed any tracking issues, even when i experimented with 50cm/360. Using 1150dpi if that means anything
