anyone who threatens (even jokingly) to shoot up a lan event should be perma banned instantly from any lan event

especially someone whos known to have a past of instigating violence/has been showing clear symptoms of psychosis in the past few months

yes he absolutely needs help and yes people should worry about him and not ignore him.

found it; its not necessarily about the siberian community, its about the russian one as a whole, some facts might obviously be outdated but its still a really cool perspective of the community and how they took care of their region's competitve scene and playerbase

i believe mr.epic/mon and a few other olders russian players adressed this issue at hand in a short documentary about the competitive russian tf2 community and its siberian playerbase, if youre from siberia you will struggle

your best option is still etf2l, however most teams would be scrimming at 6pm uk time, which means scrims would be about 10pm in most of siberia, maybe even later if youre in a higher div

and also it will just be a poor gameplay experience; the documentary mentioned about western/central eu teams wanting closer servers so they could have 30 ping instead of 60, while the siberians were already having 120-140 ping constantly alongside many other disagreements

if youre in the far-eastern part of siberia, maybe asiafortress is worth trying for like hopefully 80-90 ping, i wouldnt count on it though, best to just stuck with etf2l; good luck

eu found out its easier to win witbout a sniper player on their roster

volk is very strong mentally, im sure he can recover from the islam and ilia loses back into a champion mindset.
however lopes just feels like he wants it more, volk has done almost everything in this sport, he is not as motivated by a title as much as lopes.
when youre in volk's place theres young people wanting to take your place, even if its for a vacated title, and theyre hungry for it

(and also volk's chin is not the same after those knockout loses) he will probably try to not get rocked again and play it more safe while lopez will agressively put pressure, volk would have a hard time on the ground with him too
