Sniper and spy can potentially one shot every class in the game regardless of overcharge. Isn't that kind of the point?

I still feel like the QF got a raw deal. It was allowed midseason, giving no one a chance to really play with it by the time finals came around, and was played (and constantly highlighted) on the single most statematey map serious comp TF2 has ever seen. The casters droned on about how the stalemate was the fault of the QF, and not a map renown for being a stalemate, and during the finals when teams are more defensive then ever.

Anyway downfrag me because I don't outright hate the gun.

I can't say I understand the hate for the Conch. Few seem to run it full time because a pocket needs his shotgun to protect his medic, and the roamer obviously needs his gunboats. It seems only viable for pushing near-stalemate last holds, where a solider would need to go back to spawn/suicide, switch to it, then spam in long enough to actually charge it to be useful. The health regen is incredibly small so I can't see that being an issue, but wasn't that the only thing added to it when it was buffed?

I think the most important part of this isn't just the B.A.S.E. Jumper, but the fact we are getting new weapons. More, new weapons confirmed and incoming.

Color me excited.

The g400s and deathadder are the only options in my mind, with most anything else you're going to get angle snapping and prediction. Not good stuff for gaming.

The beginning was ok but it quickly went downhill with the "haha americans are idiots" clips. The following beat didn't flow well for me, and I couldn't find myself enjoying it after that. The softer parts were ok, but in general I didn't care for it.

Funny enough, I'm having the same issues...but it started when I upgraded to SSDs. Brand new solid state drives and suddenly Windows does these little "freezes", I thought it was only in TF2 at first but I'm seeing it microfreeze for about a second every once in awhile in all my games, flash video, and even when doing a lot of scrolling on webpages. My Linux SSD does the same, but that seems limited to TF2. Still have no idea whats causing it but its making playing TF2 a lot less enjoyable.

Spamming people on my friends list about it. Spread the gift of free vidya (even if it is Origin).

I would absolutely agree with the APU idea. The AMD APUs are great for the price, and the built in GPU is quite powerful. An APU without any extra video card will run TF2 perfectly, just be sure you get the fastest RAM you can, I'd suggest 8GB DDR3 2133MHz personally, as its not too much more to go for that speed and is very important for the on-chip GPU.

Hm, I must be alone with this issue?

I just upgraded to two SSDs, one for Windows and one for Ubuntu. Ever since reinstalling, I've found TF2 seems to freeze for a half a second every once in awhile, usually when I fire my gun or during a battle, or just when turning sharply without much else going on. The frame freezes for a second, then continues as normally. It seems to be getting worse, and I can't seem to figure out why, and it only seems to be TF2 doing it, and on both OSes. Anyone else have this issue, or know of a fix? I've read disabled multicore rendering can help, but its done nothing for me.
