Hi,
So there has been a problem of team/player burnout issues in rgl because of the long seasons that are usually at minimum 8 weeks not factoring in pre season and post season. I know a lot of players I know still enjoy playing TF2 but cant commit to 3-5 days a week for 8+ weeks and would like to play it.
I thought of a Friday weekly 4 team mini tournaments that are bo1, That are 2-5 games long. It would be like 6 keys a team or something, or if the TF2 community doesn't really like the idea of paying then just free ig idk, Winner takes 3/4 of the prize pool, 2nd place gets their money back. It seemed like an interesting concept to get good competitive TF2 going as an alternative to pugs since I know people really like playing with their teams and that is another draw that pugs don't really have. There could be multiple going at one time based off skill level.
I would like to know what the community thought of the idea and whether there was enough interest to actually pursue it.
I put a poll here to just get a number from people who use comp tf2 if they or their team would be interested in participating: https://q2ga03yk7.supersurvey.com

wait this guy is awesome
This invite season kinda sucks, so I was wondering what the best possible season could be in terms of competition.
I came up with this:

This is mostly from recent memory. I also tried to think of the most dominant season/lan they were at. There was some overlap of players from each team as well.
yeah this guy is DEFINITELY lft
Watching a bo3 every night is pretty cool
girl cafe
He was really good when we tried him out also can vibe with any team. Definitely a top roamer pickup this season
dont let this man play adv
Ive only watched this team from streams but they seem to really care about the game and being together for 3 seasons is no small feat.
