#285 GXL LAN Fall 2014 in News
yankeesince it's looking like the grime is gonna unite at gxl, put me on the list of willing to drive from Raleigh, NC. the route i'll probably take will bring me through richmond, va and close to DC, so anyone along the way is welcome to meet me should there be space available. my car can fit 4 + me (with a full back seat), but probably only 2/3 desktops and monitors. i'm undecided on whether i'm gonna bring my desktop or just use a laptop instead as of right now, but closer to the date i'll probably make a decision.

edit: also is it illegal to bring liquor across state lines

Considering that I brought a leftover mini-load of alcohol back with me after FITES, no.

Just be sober and be 21. Please.

manaTop part of open is looking really, really competitive.

Who do you have up there, mana? I haven't been in the loop as of late.

Bumping for a few more tryouts.

This NED-CRC game needs a goal. Holland is way too happy to sit back and pass the ball between defenders.

The team I was planning on joining wound up not being able to secure an IM roster, which is unfortunate but that's life.

If anyone needs a medic for IM/Main hit me up. I'm also willing to back-up/ring for a team in need as well.

#7 miwo medic scout in Recruitment (looking for team)

Pretty good aim as a scout. I like him more as a medic, but he's IM capable either way. I've known him for a long time (since the old Wu-Tang Financial days). He's a sweetheart.

Cutie pie. Good guy and decent player as well. IM quality.

Klinsmann is German-American. Klinsmann and Jogi are dear friends under similar pressures to qualify.

If that game ends 0-0 there will be HOWLING from Portugal and Ghana.

I think he has the deathmatching ability to hang around the middle of IM. He's also talking more than he used to. I am not sure if he has the tactical nous of an IM scout - but there's certainly something to work with in terms of potential.

Pugs are pugs, but he's done a good job at not getting run the fuck over by some pretty talented players in most of the in-houses that I've seen him in.

The Croatian midfield is no joke.

England is in rough shape right now. I think they might go crashing out if they don't get a point off of Italy.

Belgium can make a nice little run this WC. I don't see them falling before the semifinals. They have a young and dangerous little team.

USA is kind of drawing dead here. If they can sneak 2nd - which is VERY possible - they'll likely draw a R16 fixture against Belgium - who are a nightmare of a matchup.

#297 ESEA open in TF2 General Discussion
mi dont know why after 16 seasons of saying "we dont allow teams to go straight into any division but invite" esea will change its ruling

theyve been pretty clear about this every season

This is the first time ever where a rival league - in this case, CEVO - actually threatens their entire TF2 operation. ESEA didn't have to change when there was no pressure to do so.

You're not wrong in stating that there is no precedent. I think what people are suggesting is that we are working under new conditions now - and that those conditions will spur structural change.
