It's very disappointing that we won't have the privilege of watching him in the IM playoffs. Good.

Edit: I hate it when my tie shifts over during dinnertime.
He's a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed individual. He falls asleep whenever he listens to one of my CDs in the car. He wears a skullcap when it's not even cold outside. He likes to play sniper. He can also talk about TF2 all day long if you let him. If you want to make him really happy, take him to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast.
That's all I have, really.

Great guy to play with. His play speaks for itself. I like his sniping ability as well.
Add me. I'll have some free time real soon.
Why am I not surprised that synchro is joining back up with these guys again? Those two should be a fun scout pair to play with.
TuggerradiumWhat are people's thoughts on WASD Keyboards? I'd love to buy a custom mechanical keyboard - but if I'm going to spend the money then IT MUST LAST.
I've torn my $10 keyboard to shreds in about 2-3 months. It's been a nuisance and I'm paying the price for not spending the money.
They are solid.
It is worth noting that almost any reliable mechanical brand uses nearly the same keycaps though and can be customized later if for example you wanted the fancy lighting of a ducky AND some custom caps. For this reason I do not think the price tag on WASD is totally fair, but that's just me.
Here's what I want:
- MX Cherry Blue/Green caps. I do a good bit of typing outside of gaming. I'll add O-rings if the sound gets to be problematic.
- Heavyweight and durable enough to handle traveling between LAN, work environments, and home.
- I don't want any LED backlighting. I find it to be obnoxious.
- I despise the whole "gaming" look with snakes/flames/ridiculous color schemes. I'm 25, and I don't find that stuff "cool" anymore. Simplicity is a good thing.
The WASD customization tool allows me to have what I want - but the price is about $40 more than I'd like to spend.
I've also looked at things like this:

Are Corsair as good with their keyboards as they are with everything else? If so, then I can save about $55+ and get this one instead.

He's a pleasant person to be around. He's one of the more considerate people in this community. I liked his soldier play.
6. If you're the type that gets sweaty and musty in heat, bring a pocket fan. Trust me, the 2-3 times you'll use it will be worth your while. It will be 35-50 degrees outside - and about 80-90 inside.
7. The chairs are shit - bring a cushion or your ass is going to be in pain.
8. The SF tournament is where it's at. Join in regardless of your skill level.
9. The parking lot has a nice spotlight in it. Car theft should not be an issue at this LAN.
10. *EDITED* Not really appropriate after thinking about it.
11. The food at the hotel bar is underwhelming. The suburbs west of Harrisburg as well as the short drive to the Harrisburg town centre are both well worth your while for some good eats. Treat it like a road trip - there's fun stuff to do around the area. I'll be hitting up the German specialty store just east of the LAN site.
A few things of note:
1. Unlike GXL, this isn't a LAN where you should just camp out all night. Most sane people just split rooms (they're CHEAP) between 2-4 people. The facility is a basement conference hall - which means that smells and heat are held in longer than usual. It's a decent gaming environment, but a terrible sleeping environment.
2. If you stay at a room, bring your own pillowcase. When I stayed last time, my face broke out overnight and it took almost a full week to clear up again. The rooms aren't dingy or anything - it's just that the linens can often irritate sensitive skin.
3. This LAN is cozy - but also tight. Don't expect a ton of space compared to GXL. The nice part is that you can easily get from place to place.
4. The surrounding area is a bit boring - the closest place of real down-time entertainment is Harrisburg, PA.
5. Don't forget power cords and misc. hookups. The FITES people can spare you an ethernet cable - but don't expect anything more.
I'll think of more as I go.
Paid. Seat O11. This should be fun.
Pleasant guy. He was a solid player this season. Pick him up.
I've rang for a few of these guys before, and I generally felt that zephyr and Final_Light had very direct personalities. I don't know enough about Magus outside of his playing ability (he's a pretty good demoman). Final_Light can be very intense, but I don't see that as an issue as long as everyone on the team is really paying attention and giving 100% during scrims.
Final_Light and zephyr both have a decent sense of humor outside of scrims, and are cool to hang around in general.
IMO the type of player that would work VERY well here would be a low IM player that is strong-willed, mature, and fairly serious about contending in CEVO.
