You should probably give info about yourself + what league you're going into
Also 180 hours, none of which are in the past 2 weeks, is perhaps too early for you to be starting a team
mochaGot an animation degree but right now I work in a bra and panty shop.
I do bra fitting for women and ensure our bras fit them by putting my finger underneath the band, looking at their breasts to ensure they're not spilling out, and recommending cute lacy thongs to match.
AWWWW YEEAAA-
mochaExcept our bras and panties cater to women in their 40s+, so I mainly just find them bras to make their breasts look smaller after having a few kids and listen to them tell me about the wonders of going through menopause.
Thongs are pretty popular for women around the age of 55 though. :)
OH NO
Jerman is one of my e-bffs. He's always friendly and positive. He has a positive outlook on everything. His voice is also really tolerable and he can sing like an angel.
Enough about his personality, he's proficient on scout, sniper, and soldier and could play any of those classes at an open level. He's dedicated to improving and is always DMing and working at getting better. Definite pick up.
I'm a student and work a part time office job in video editing/production
You tag him on your friends list so he appears above all the people that matter less
KissmeSpyromancerredbanOf the top of my head, Kissme and cookie are two prime examples of people who made "hello world" posts and were met with all smiles.thrasherAlso for expanding appeal to newer players... Maybe the majority of the community could stop acting like a bunch of ignorant cunts all the time.
When TF2 first came out just about everyone in the community was pretty nice and usually really helpful. Now it's more like "fucking noob. Fuck off." And that's not very appealing.
I feel like the "fucking noob, fuck off" stuff is between existing community members. Seems like new players are greeted with warm welcomes and friendliness. Not even being sarcastic either.
Kissme!
:-*
WillsredbanWillsYou'd pay close to $1,000 real life dollars to watch some regular people that are good at TF2 drive a car?To each his own, I guess.b4nnyUpdate:Over the weekend you guys have donated a total of $826, covering 3 of our plane tickets. We will most likely close the collection at the end of the week. Thanks so much for your generosity and continued support!I'll double whatever you have right now if instead of flying you go on a roadtrip and film the whole thing documentary style.
Furthermore, that was a joke, friend ;)
You were joking about donating? That's a shame

PhraktureYou know its gotta be good considering how much time he put into this post.
He put a picture of the soldier, now I have to join the server.
This post is not very informative
Puke-N-SnotI'm hoping to join in on some competitive TF2 (tonight will be my 1st Newbie mixer so we shall see if that hope is realistic or not).
Of course that hope is realistic!
Every single competitive player in this game started out playing in pubs.
Get familiar with the 6v6 format, watch some TFTV casts, understand the metagame, learn your role, familiarize yourself with competitive terms/callouts.
But the most important thing is to just jump in when you're ready. Play some lobbies @ http://www.tf2lobby.com (they're always happening and they're not too serious) to get some 6v6 experience, and some DM/MGE servers to improve your aim/DM. Pretty soon you'll be having fun with the game at a competitive level. Get some practice in and try to join a 6v6 team next season in UGC!
And remember, everyone is allowed to play competitive TF2, and anyone that tells you otherwise is wrong.
