#6 Signing up for comentating matches? in Q/A Help

You should probably get some more experience with the game in general though... 400 hours doesn't really show a lot of worth knowledge.

#55 Valve launches competitive beta public group in News
wareyaIs this thread about the benefits and shortcomings of different formats now?

8v8 with classlimits of 2.

In all seriousness though even if there's no classlimits in MM, skill ranking (you know, the "matchmaking" part) will take care of everything and put format players with other format players.

even before that, people who actually want to learn about comp (albeit through mm and no other source) will eventually figure out the best team composition

I'm more of a fan of TBA myself, they have a far better understanding of the game.

#2 ozfortress SC16 UB Final: Jasmine Tea vs. Gossip Girl in Events
RunawayTwo questions: Around what ping do the oz players usually have to the servers? And is there a substantial ping difference between the players?

Should be a great match though. Never get to watch the actual casts, but will watch the VOD for Backcap.

90-60 from Perth
60-30 from Adelaide
30 or less from Sydney/Melbourne [Some people it goes over (AU internet smh)]
NZ varies, sometimes 80 but sometimes 50 idk

#33 ALL ABOARD THE ASIAN I58 HYPE TRAIN in TF2 General Discussion
kounterpartstrasheven if asia's teams were terrible and awful, a good way to becoming a better region is to fight teams from stronger regions and learn from there

so long as nobody gets screwed in the donations, having 100% dedicated teams willing to prove themselves from around the world can only be a good thing
but thats the thing, donations. This community relies so much on donations, and what happens when the well runs dry?

I'm sure it will rain again when matchmaking is released

Got to stay optimistic
