I agree. It serves as an alternative to ESEA (there may have been many) but in Australia there really hasn't been one for a very long time if you exclude ATF2L. With the relatively separate seasons in Australia, this is huge and it baffles me that the signups aren't over instantly. It's pretty much a one night cup, and how great are those!

This video was taken 10 minutes ago, as soon as i realized that I'd get downfragged if i didn't show evidence. This video was taken after the update on July 3rd, 2015, at around 10:45 EST and shows that there is no change between the current state of the game and the state of the game after the update on July 2nd, 2015

what they use at iseries isnt important because iseries might not always be the big tf2 lan
Also afaik all other scenes are using EU rules (Ozfortress, AsiaFortress) and i think fbtf as well.
