CaptainZidgelConsole-Oh, I think you're a bit confused then. UGC are the only league that uses Steel as a division. If you're looking for ESEA players, open would be the division you'd be starting in.Not confused, just clarifying that UGC specifically has been my bane because the matches are Wednesday (but afaik ESEA matches are Saturday)
As far as UGC rescheduling, that all depends on the teams you get matched up with, however in my memory of leading UGC teams other teams will be very sure to force default day/time and ffw the moment they are technically allowed to.Probably not for me, then. If they force us to play Wednesday I wouldn't be able to make it.
I'd encourage you guys to play ESEA over UGC, however there are 2 matches a week instead of 1 and a lot larger of a skill gap between the bottom and top level.Doesn't ESEA cost money both for the client and the league? I've heard they waived TF2's open fees, but that still leaves the client. Unless I'm confused. If it were free to enter and didn't play on Wednesday, then I'd love to join an ESEA team (although OP has a UGC team).
you still have to pay premium fees to use the esea client. the open div is free but there are fees for IM and invite
esea matches can be on Saturday but there are 2 matches per week for 8 weeks and they are usually defaulted to weekdays but can be rescheduled to another day and/or time if both team leaders agree
