I've been seeing these death grips threads and its making me sad cause the new Belle and Sebastian Album is coming. It seems to have been leaked and is getting good reviews and their new single 'Nobody's Empire' is the best song by them in years. I'm getting totally hyped for this and I am going to see them in Glasgow and I am wondering if there are any other Belle and Sebastian fans here who wanna add me to talk about them. I am also thinking of asking a girl to go with me to the concert so any advice on how to approach her on it would be nice since she has no idea who they are she might not even like them. My personal favorite songs by them are Photo Jenny and Me and the Major. I was thinking I should let her hear some of their best accessible pop stuff like Another Sunny Day (or anything of The Life Pursuit or Dear Catastrophe Waitress)

What I am asking is how I ask this girl to come with Glasgow with me to go to a concert with an awesome band when she probably has never heard of them. Its quite a trip (2 hours or so) but she is a year older than me and I need to take the lead and I don't know if I can do this. If she has fun though this is my chance to get laid. Help.

I am not fan of death grips myself but everyone has different tastes and you should not judge people by the music they listen to (unless you are haffi he literally thinks the Black Eyed Peas are the greatest band in existence.) We all have guilty pleasures (I like The Middle by Jimmy Eat World for example) Music is like food, some people think dog shit (hafficool for example) tastes amazing and some people (like me) think Deep Fried Mars bars (the best thing about living in scotland lol) are amazing (my Superior music taste is here.) The point is everyone likes different stuff and you should not judge them and be nice and repesct other peoples opinions. You can still be repulsed or disgusted that some people like the taste of ipz's shit musicslly (like haffi) but you should still be kind and respectful. You are all great people btw and pls dont ban me.
