Let me know if you like it. I'm looking at different monitors as well.

I use voice activity. Although it does depend on both your mic and your surroundings, you should still be able to set it up so it doesn't pick up everything. My teammates only hear my keyboard when I talk. I also have a button to toggle Deafen and a button to toggle Mute for mumble.
Does anyone know why my tf2 won't launch? It starts launching and then before it even gets to the loading screen hl2.exe stops working. This has only started happening recently and I haven't messed with configs or launch options lately.
nvm i'm not high open lol
Still looking? I added you to talk. http://steamcommunity.com/id/shlaner
If you want to test the waters in UGC Plat then please add me: http://steamcommunity.com/id/shlaner
We would love to tryout a new scout for our team and we scrim almost daily.
Unfortunately we aren't in ESEA if that's what you're looking for, though.
edit: team died :3
DylanSomeone who has never played competitive TF2 should start a daily stream of the process of "noob" to competitive player. It would be neat to see the transformation a player goes through and the improvements made. Who knows, we might be able to witness the making of a future invite champion :D
I've already posted my crappy steel matches. This season is plat. Wish me luck.
(these next two are on the tf.tv list but just want to put them here again just incase they were missed)

edit: anthal is already on there
Although scrims won't give you a back-to-back practice for rollouts, it's important to practice rolling out with a team as well because my demo says he gets pushed sometimes so you may have to compensate for that.
This is a very, very nice hud. I like the simplicity.
fosterI need to figure out how to set up a project in github or code google.
I believe you can start one in Google Docs. I don't remember off the top of my head, but it's very easy though.
I have been working on class-introduction videos for the competitive 6s classes. I've done Demo, Scout and Soldier. The latest one, Medic, had more time put into it and I tried to explain as much as I could for new players. If you want I could link the video(s).
This is also an awesome article I'll probably have to refer back to in the future as well.
I remember lobbying with you like a month ago :o
I was going to help but realized I'm busy this weekend, I'll join in one a couple next week if you do them again
spsimplicitymackeycan't promise I can scrim before 11est
can't promise I won't go charge n targe half the time
can't promise I'll even have close to a positive k:d
put me in coach
Just having you on our roster would scare people, lol
Not if I read that post :D
Ma3laaIll just say it now I guess, but I've already begged star a million times to advertise i46 and all the lans etc and he does. But basically starting with the Whales vs LG match tonight we're going to post produce cast games on his channel, talk about tf.tv, esea, comp tf2 in general. And we might do a "How to get into competitive" video but we figure if we upload casts and briefly talk about this stuff the people who want to play will go the extra mile to find out how to do things.
I think the best way is to get him to post his POVs of comp gameplay. His followers idolize him and if he's doing it, they'll want to do it too.
