Shooting people of drastically varying skill in the back isn't fun. DM is a good warm-up, but it's not something I can play for extended amounts of time.

Since I've been back, the only MGE server I see people on is firepowered, and that server is fucking aweful. Every other server I see with people on it seems to be really low level.

Is there some spot everyone goes to MGE that I don't know about?

You really can't expect a team to spread their players out in a game where your teammates and friends are the main reason you play (like tf2).

You could probably put together two rosters of NA players that could challenge froyo, but between people being busy, taking breaks, refusing to play in ESEA ever again, etc, those players are never playing at the same time so shit doesn't happen. It's not froyo's fault.

Don't get me wrong, I don't even watch tf2 anymore because I think it's boring/predictable in it's current state. There's a team with clockwork AND banny on it, WITHOUT tyrone... obviously they are gonna beat everyone.

I'd just rather see other teams step up than see froyo split apart.

Yup. Wonderland uses one. Wonderwall used one (his was wood though). TLR used one s8-s12. I know for a fact shade and decimate switched over to them, and seagull and kermit used them at a couple lans.

I heard yz50 and dave_ac used wooden ones as well, but I'm not 100%

I also know lansky switched to one in s11 - the season before he went invite. Not sure if he still uses it though.

You'd be surprised at how many invite players use cutting boards. Shit, carnage even used a silicone cutting mat for a while because the traction was so good.
