Gunboats are utterly retarded in bball and shouldn't be allowed. They don't really open up many new jump possibilities. They DO allow for very sloppy play - you can mess up like 3 jumps, get airshotted, and still have HP to cap.

Escape plan was allowed, and there are mixed feelings on that. I really don't personally care about it either way. I think opens up some interesting jumps, but also allows for people to be gay in 1v1s.

There are actually quite a few bball maps on gamebanana. Most look pretty bad/wouldn't function the same as ctf_ballin_sky. If nothing else, they can be used for textures.

As for walking on fences: my personal feeling is that any reskins should function more or less EXACTLY THE SAME as ctf_ballin_sky.

Maps with different geometry would be sweet too, but would obviously require lots of play-testing. Re-skins, on the other hand, could be thrown into the mix immediately, assuming they don't have any noticeable game-play differences from the original map.

I'm thinking this could be incorporated with EXC0's map, if he'd allow it. Since there are so many courts, we could give some of them different skins to spice shit up.

I think jungle bball would be good/easy place to start for re-skins. Like Benroads suggested, we could have tree-trunks with the hoops on them, and rocky side walls. We could also have some trees and things in the surrounding area, and maybe some animals spectating from the treetops, rain forest sound-effects, and so on.
