#1 Mid-high open LF Roamer in Recruitment (looking for players)

We're a new team looking for a chill mid-high open level roamer to complete our roster for ESEA season 17. The team at the moment is kind of a tentative thing but we're all friends and we want to make it work.

Our roster at the moment consists of
Scout: Sissel
Scout: bowswer5
Pocket: sky_
Medic: Pico
Demo: carolina

We're looking for someone who is relaxed, won't rage, and dedicated to the game and is looking to learn and improve their game with the rest of us. Bonus points if you already know one of us or like anime.

Hit me up here for tryouts: http://steamcommunity.com/id/yandere_

EDIT:
Tryouts are starting again, feel free to add me if you are interested. Please be more towards high open than mid.

#7 Evaluating good play from stats/logs in TF2 General Discussion

As long as you win does it really matter? Looking at logs to see who did "better or worse" only serves to inflate ego or blaming a teammate. You can get 400 dpm, a 3KAD, and lose by just baiting your team over and over again and somehow people will still call you good.

#6 Low-open Scout LFT CEVO in Recruitment (looking for team)

low open is the biggest understatement I could imagine out of him. With his DM he can probably easily play in high open/IM once he gets more familiar with the format.

#7 Playing on 1980x1080 borderless in Q/A Help

is the difference really that significant? I get about 150 typically on borderless windowed, but if it's like +30 or something extra fps I might switch to vanilla fullscreen.

#7 LFT Open in Recruitment (looking for team)

Played with him last week as part of a tryout. Wasn't very impressive with either DM, positioning, or calls. TBH I think he just baited everyone.

#7 Sezco made me decide to post this in TF2 General Discussion

Items definitely help a lot, considering how many people play UGC just for the medals. Tradable prizes might be even higher incentive? The problem is advertising it to the pubbers since the difference with medals is that they're basically free advertising for the league.

#123 THE REMATCH IS REAL in TF2 General Discussion
HueyLewisWe'd have so many easy forfeit wins for not starting within 15 minutes of default time it'd be fucking ridiculous. By the way I'm pretty sure the admins have forced games to be played in that circumstance many times, so this decision isn't exactly without precedent itself.

Then it's pretty clear that the rules need to be changed if admins won't stick by written rules. If I see something like that written in the rules, I expect the admins in charge to stick by the words they wrote themselves and enforce, whether or not I choose to be a good sport about it. Relying on people to be good sports is a very poor way to run a league, especially one that has cash prizes now.
