Pretty much this. They do help with eye-strain but I don't typically have issues with eye-strain. They do somewhat help me discern red from blue on maps with overly bright textures (mainly snow maps) but they don't seem to have any effect on colors for me on other maps, so I haven't used them since coldfront/viaduct were in rotation.

If you have eye-strain issues, they definitely do help, but if your vision is degrading, I would sooner recommend you see an optometrist and get lenses to correct the issue. If you have a prescription, you can get glasses from somewhere like http://www.zennioptical.com with yellow tinted lenses, etc. to help relieve eye-strain.

I've had no issues with my alienware m17x r3 laptop. It's been working well for 2 years. It cost me less than anything similar offered by any other maker.

Throw a period at the end of your sentences and move those random capitals to the beginning of the sentences and you're golden.

Yeah, I've used that option. Indeed it does suck.

What I meant was that the medic autoheal script is constantly sending the +attack command and only stopping when you click. Trying to use that for sniper wouldn't work because you need to issue +attack2, but then immediately issue -attack2 to prevent the sniper from scoping and unscoping repeatedly.

The medic autoheal script won't work for this because with medic, you need to constantly hold the button, whereas with sniper, holding the button will cause you to zoom in and out constantly. I do think this can be accomplished without wait commands, but it's going to take multiple aliases to function properly. I'll see what I can whip up when I get home (in 10-12 hours).

Neither of these are really accurate. Whether or not you can use the integrated video while also using a discrete card depends on the motherboard's chipset and the CPU. If you're using an Intel CPU with integrated video, you should be able to utilize both simultaneously. You're not necessarily any more likely to run into extra problems by having a separate GPU power each monitor.
