A-R-You could try out CM Storm Quickfire TK. I got one from Amazon for ~$80, and its a great one. It does not have a numpad, but has the arrow keys. If you don't mind not having backlight, then CM Storm QuickFire Rapid is a great one.
This is a great start, if there's something a bit cheaper you can find, that would be awesome. LED back lighting isn't really necessary, but is nice btw.

Very interesting idea, I quite like the "karma" idea for more things than the tournament, possibly gear or games could be an incentive?
I could see karma being implemented as a League of Legends type thing where after you play a game, you can report players on the other team for good or bad behavior (mad in chat, bad sportsmanship, bad teamwork, etc) and they would receive or lose karma for those things (respectively).
This karma could also be used in a PUG (hosted by the league) scenario where after the game you could rate their performance and how they did. Also, people with higher Karma's decisions would have a bigger impact than lower karma players to deter trolls and such.

Im not sure if this is possible or not, but somehow a automated scrim organizer that would lets say, you would tell the bot lets say !scrim steel 8:30 1/7/2014 and it would find a scrim for you and match with someone else looking for one at the same time, and once it finds a match, it would link their steam account, just a suggestion!

Im having trouble centering crosshair 8 on fognew on Noto, with a 1366 by 768 monitor.
