#24 Competitive shooters? in Other Games

Okay this is getting off topic/autistic, I got a good general idea of what I needed to know, thanks everyone for the answers. In the end, I'll probably force myself to play a bit more TF2 until I either rageswitch to CS:Go or wait for another arena game.

KanecoIm really excited for dirty bomb, W: Enemy Territory was one of my biggest addictions when I was a kid, and it was an awesome game, I loved its comp scene as well, and that's why I love class based fps's. I hope something good from Splash Damage, still haven't tried the beta tho.

It's made by nexon, lelno. Also 3muchhitscan69mi

RIP in potatoes my hopes, would be cool if volvo made next gen source engine, have updated gmod and w/e.

Yeah, Tribes is dead and full of idiots. It was fun for a while, but Hi-rez started focusing on smite and the community went to shit and there's all the retarded pew pew guns that make you wanna hate yourself and/or the game, and so on and so forth. Played enough of it to never want to play it again.

RIP tribz u wil b misd

EDIT: I assume you meant Tribes Ascend, not the older ones

So I'm getting quite tired of the whole TF2 competitive thingy. I was looking into trying out other shooters (FPS/TPS) which have competitive communities, good mechanics and/or interesting concepts.

What would you recommend? Also pls no cs:go, something preferably with projectiles in it because projectile master race (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

tornados2111soneyI'm not exactly using a claw grip or a palm grip, I'm using a fingertip grip which is somewhere between the two. Razer manages to describe it quite well.oh my god those quotes at the end of the page are hilariously dramatic

#1 Obligatory Mouse Nerd Thread in Hardware

Okay, so I need a new mouse. My current Steelseries Sensei Raw is almost broken (left mouse button is cracked) and I cannot whatsoever decide on a new one. I've done countless research, read many threads and watch a lot of videos, but none were really explicit enough. Keep in mind I'm using a fingertip grip at 9.6cm/360, and mostly play demo/solly/sniper.

I've gotten down to 4 mice:
Logitech G400
Zowie FK
Razer Deathadder 2013
Steelseries Rival

Now, I know the G400 has a great sensor and is really ergonomic, but I also know that is breaks very easily. The FK is great, absolutely no complaints, except the fact that it is ambidextrous. I've had the Sensei Raw for a year and a half, and the fact that it's ambidextrous really annoys me. It's nowhere near as comfortable as right-handed mice (I previously had a Razer Imperator 2012, which btw, I don't recommend). I know the LMB and RMB on the FK are curved, and so give a better and tigher feel, but it's still ambidextrous. I was lucky enough to find the 2013 Deathadder in a local store (you'd be surprised how sparse good mice are around where I live), and was given the chance to actually feel it. The only problem I know of with it is some driver issues, and I personally know that some razer batches are broken while others last forever. I have absolutely no experience about the Steelseries Rival, as it's only very new.

I know there's countless mouse threads out there, but none were useful enough. Does anyone care to shed some light on this issue which bugs me a lot?
