Mostly rock and hiphop. I've heard rumors that M50's are lacking bass in sound, would be lovely if someone could vouch on that.
I don't really mind if they're open or closed as long as I like the sound.

Hello. So recently my headphones died and I was recommended to get a pair of Audiotechnica M50's. Are they worth it?
Sorry for bringing yet another dumb question, I just don't want to waste €150 on a headphones that I won't be using.
I've tried to ask a couple of friends about them, but

Don't get me wrong there is nothing bad in engi fragmovies, I don't mind them personally, as long as it doesn't have 2 killstreak with a minisentry. Sigafoo is a cool guy and very experienced engineer, I like him.
