JaguarFiendI'm having this same issue, seemingly. This sucks balls.
I tried to reinstall, and i installed it in a different file location, this seemed to have fixed the problem for me.

Every time I start esea my game first crashes the first time I try to join the server, then after i restart my computer which sometimes fixes it, i do join the server then my name tag never comes in and the error "you must have the client open before any games are running.." while I have client running....
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling esea, but I have yet to find a solution and it is costing my team....
Solution Found for me:
If anyone else ever has the problem, tell them to reinstall but in a different file location, because noticed most of my programs were under program files(x86) and esea was under program files so i installed it under there and i haven't had any problems since.
