wareyasquashis there a way to track what weapons/items get picked or banned over a certain period of time, and then be able to submit that to Valve in like a spreadsheet manner or something? Server mod, IRC log, something?http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/8968-pick-ban-pug-aar-thread
Well I meant something maybe along the lines of an IRC log that keeps exactly that information in the template, allows team captains to provide feedback in the notes, but for many (25, 50?) matches in one file so its not a million feedback emails/posts?
is there a way to track what weapons/items get picked or banned over a certain period of time, and then be able to submit that to Valve in like a spreadsheet (or some other kind of understandable manner)? Server mod, IRC log, something?
COuld we leave the recent tf.tv/VTV drama out of it?
anyone else having this problem?
I think the Zowie EC1 eVo is larger than the AM. I know its larger than my WMO 1.1, according to the dimensions.
Rickvaccinator - heal targets become immune from damage for 2 second after getting a 110% health buffloose cannon - has 6 shots, direct pipe damage 75% roller damage `50%
Okay, medic one sounds good, demo GL ugh.
so what's the stats/effects on the new medigun & GL?
what's your graphics card, processor, memory, all those other details?
what's its native resolution? You're probably only going to get its highest performance from it.
venomsensitivity "0.87"m_filter "0"m_rawinput "1"m_customaccel "1"m_customaccel_exponent "1"m_customaccel_scale "0.033"m_customaccel_max "1.12"m_customaccel_scale is what I think you're looking for, although this is not a strict rule like customeraccel_max.I use my base sensitivity as my sniper sensitivity.m_customaccel "1" blows chunks for sniping (avoid at all costs)p.s: zowie am using 1150 dpi :)
Okay, so customaccel "1" is quake-like? That's the accel I'm used to and I just need a bit to make turns a bit easier.
wareyaEpzafaik acceleration doesnt scale correctly or something along those lines when zoomed, so that might be part of your issuethis is bullshit, it only happens when you misconfigure your accel with setting m_customaccel 1 (which sets the TYPE of accel, not ENABLING "THE" accel -- 0 happens to be "none")m_customaccel : 0 : , "a", "cl" : Custom mouse acceleration: 0: custom accelaration disabled 1: mouse_acceleration = min(m_customaccel_max, pow(raw_mouse_delta, m_customaccel_exponent) * m_customaccel_scale + sensitivity) 2: Same as 1, with but x and y sensitivity are scaled by m_pitch and m_yaw respectively. 3: mouse_acceleration = pow(raw_mouse_delta, m_customaccel_exponent - 1) * sensitivity[3 is the only setting that works properly with tf2's sniper scope]m_customaccel_exponent : 1 : , "a", "cl" : Mouse move is raised to this power before being scaled by scale factor.m_customaccel_max : 0 : , "a", "cl" : Max mouse move scale factor, 0 for no limitm_customaccel_scale : 0 : , "a", "cl" : Custom mouse acceleration value.
I wish I could make heads or tails of this.
will there ever be mumble comms available to hear for this match?
well communication is actually a problem atm, as my headset/mic just went out on me. Thanks for your input everyone!
grillzI think you have most of the general information that you need. If you've already conquered staying alive, controlling space and knowing the roll outs then you might want a mentor to talk with in mumble to get more specificplus its lobbies we're talking about here...
Well, I've not ventured into lobbies or anything yet, so "staying alive" right now is "staying alive in pubs", which with 24 ppl still tend to challenge me, having only melee & projectile weapons. I've noticed though if I tend to plan ahead my positioning by placing stickies (or spamming) where opponents approach from (like if I need to reload or something), it keeps me alive longer.
Are there links when you join the newbiemix steam group where you can find the how-to's on mumble, connecting via console, and standard knowledge (rollouts, pushes, offclassing, etc)?
If not perhaps consider that, and some way of them letting you know they HAVE actually watched/read them, like put a link at the end of a YT video "Follow this link to register (on a pastebin doc or something) that you've watched this", or something to add to their profile so a mod can actually open it up and see that they have at least done that much.
bumpity bump for visibility (hope that's ok)
