Tynnyrihpqoeuim not owned,,, im not owned i continue to insist
I can only imagine how you're feeling right now. 12 years. That must have been very hard for you.
I'm sorry that your feelings got hurt, I really am. And I now know you've hit your limit a long time ago. Your creepiness, your defensiveness, it all makes sense now. But that doesn't excuse it.
There are things that make you seem like a creep, is that then due to a misunderstanding or an obsession. The best thing you can do now is learn from it and move on.
by this quote he meant you and your pathetic behaviour
the funniest part is that you could listen to your own advices and perhaps move on xD
ps: there are indeed stuff where if i checked somebody's details, it would be considered creepy and usually people call that "sensitive information" like irl address, real name (if someone wishes to keep it private), personal details about your life you do not share, and the reason why people consider it creepy because usually you are not dumb enough to share it publicly so someone must make a very deep research to be able to find it and it's quite similiar to someone following your step except it's done in a way you don't see it
but your dumb reviews about games are not sensitive information at all, you can click on your nickname here on this forum, click steam profile and voila; you have someone's steam profile
the entire purpose of having game reviews is to be public about it xD so if you don't find it cool that people can read it (and eventually make conclusions about what kind of person you are based on it), why do you post it in the first place?
privacy settings exist for a reason; if you don't wish people to be able to see your shit on your profile just set it to private, it's not that deep
instead of behaving like a schizo and calling people out for what they aren't actually are, maybe you should start thinking about what ur typing here?
hellstardishsoap textI don't understand what you mean by "what needs to be done" or by adapt. We can't stop extremely toxic and horrible people from saying things over the internet. RGL does ban the people who are that extremely toxic, but that doesn't stop them from continuing to say those things and to harass ROL in various ways. I don't know what the "real issue at heart" is supposed to be.
Obviously ROL needs help, but what is the community as a whole supposed to do to help, or even prevent this? Mental illness does not excuse threatening others with death. We are not babysitters, and most of us are not friends or even close to ROL in the first place. We already try to exclude people that are horrible toxic and not good for the community.
Most of what I have experienced and heard about regarding ROL's pleas for help, is that they are mostly about being banned from RGL. It could be possible I am completely mistaken but, that is my experience, and with that information I obviously chose to do nothing because what was I supposed to do?
99.9% of players in this community are not like ROL, and would not threaten to shoot b4nny or RGL staff members because they got banned from RGL.
A sad reality of some mental illnesses is that they don't get better with time. Sometimes they become worse and become more difficult to treat. Someone who was coping well a few years ago may struggle more in the present. It can happen regardless of what a person's life situation is like.
I don't think ROL would have threatened RGL staff and b4nny if she never got banned from RGL, but that isn't an acceptable response to a situation she put herself by her own free will. I don't think RGL can do anything. The only community leader we have other than RGL is b4nny, and I don't think he is at fault for ROL's behavior. Is b4nny supposed to have done something to prevent/stop ROL from snapping like this?
I don't think the response to ROL's posts/threats is to unban her because she will shoot someone or kill herself. That is very self-explanatory I hope.
Ultimately all we can do is hope she gets treatment that can help her, and for those who are actually close to ROL to support her. I don't think our community can help her by bending the rules and putting others in possible danger.
i fully agree with you, ultimately you can't do much except trying to let people in their circle know about the fact that this is happening and wish they could do something about this
this person clearly does not see any problem in what is happening and they need some close person like friends or family to make them realize that their behaviour is a problem in a nicer way than i just put it here and lead them to a professional who could deal with the problem because i am pretty sure with all respect but tftv or tf2 communities is like one of the last places of all you should seek for help simply because most of us don't know how to help
hi
i would like to thank you for you all who attended the event, while it was a small event i think we can surely say it was fun
i would like to also thank to all of you who helped me with this event organization, regardless if onsite or remotely, it wouldn't be the same without you
again, we're going to gather photos from this event to a common gallery which will be accessible on our website, so if you have any please upload it here https://c.supra.tf/s/Pryf5xkiDBSBFNb
if there is anybody who wishes not to appear in the gallery (regardless if these are player uploads or ours - please make a ticket and let us know about it, we will respect your call)
i got questions about the upcoming events and plans related to it: so far we do not plan any future "casual" events like the one we've just had until further notice
while this was the root of the event series, there is less interest for this type of events while having huge interest in events where we put players to test their own gaming edge in TF2 competitive
which was something you could experience during the winter event and we'd like to follow this trend, so gather up the strongest 6v6 team you can get and prepare yourself for the best competitive experience you can get in the upcoming year
we plan to organize the next event somewhere around the end of february and start of april as it can get a bit more distanced in time from Überfest in november
and avoid price hikes for flight tickets which would come close to easter (end of april) as we want to keep it as the cheapest tf2 competitive event imaginable
we'll ask you about the interest somewhere around september so we can know how big attendance we can expect
we are keen on having at least one NA and AU/NZ team so we'll do our best to prepare a worthy prize pool for the next event
one last thing: poLANd.tf is entirely funded from community donations and we would appreciate your help with covering costs for the last event and upcoming one(s)
our finances are transparent and you can find them at https://finances.poland.tf/ while you can support us through https://donate.poland.tf/
again, thanks for everything and hopefully cu@ poLANd.tf 2025!
waxu dont have enough ram i think? try closing everything and running tf2 again
shes right, post your pc specs so we could confirm it
hey everyone!
i'd like to remind you that the signups are still open! as of now we have 26 players signed up as well as 16 spectators
signups are going to close one week before the event (12.07.2024)
later on next week we are going to choose what tournaments do we want to run where we'll have a choice between:
- 6v6 tournament based on players available (players form teams themselves)
- 6v6 draft tournament where a few captains will pick their team
- MGE tournament for soldiers or/and scouts
- BBall tournament
- Ultiduo tournament
keep in mind that we are going to host multiple tournaments, not just one of the choices from the list
meanwhile, i'd like to announce that the fragmovie from remaining edition is done by deli and is going to have a premiere at 18 CEST today, so make sure you'll see it!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YD2FcdoA-og
that's pretty cool, i love it
recently I've binge watched the original old avatar last airbender series and I'm willing to watch the continuation (the legend of korra)
I enjoyed the Witcher series recently and it's something you could try, it shouldn't be expensive
you could try cyberpunk 2077 too - it's way less buggy than at the beginning, has a great story and it's guaranteed 60 hrs of play with the dlc

One of my viewers made this after I uploaded that video

it's definitely better kind of fanarts than the ones this dude praises (check his twitter)
Seinfeldinvite players need to take a note out of the FGCs book. pick new players! who cares if you lose the pug, get some random on scout and teach them to play! allow them to fail, let them learn. it'd be easier to do this if there were no elo
very wishful thinking, most of the people aren't that patient, you start doing some stupid shit and you get shittalked, it's not good but it is what it is
Seinfeldi think the problem is that pugs are too cumbersome in NA. i have more fun playing tf2pickup.eu as a burger and getting shit on and playing with 120 ping than really any other form of pugs because you can actually play on demand without the threat of being fatkidded every pug like RGL pugs do to anyone whos not part of the in-crowd on that site already.
honestly i've tried running highlander pugs as in hl.tf2pickup.us in NA and it worked for some time and it had some success but i think the reasons why it was a thing was because:
- some people disliked people who ran rgl pugs A LOT like they were openly unhappy about it
- rgl pugs didn't work at all or there were serious issues with their operations (which seems to be fixed now)
- no fatkidding
however when rgl pugs started working normally people moved back to playing these simply because more people were gathering up there and after like 2 months of no games i've closed the site because i saw no meaning in maintaining the operation, meanwhile i was thinking of hosting tf2pickup.us but after this i kinda gave up cuz i thought that na 6v6 people are happy with what they have so this service is basically not needed
however, if there is an actual interest from the community we could make it happen, i just need to see that people really want it and we could do something about it
the big difficulty is getting admins to maintain the site and getting actually trusted people, i strongly empathize on the latter because i am extremely happy about what kind of admin team i have for eu pugs as i know they have a good intent for the matter
Seinfeldalso the elo system is a terroism super plague on pugs, even for the captain pugs. people care about that gay little number too much and it creates this insulated ecosystem where everyone is trying to pick the best pug possible so they can gain elo
this is the exact reason why skill values for all players aren't public on tf2pickup.eu as it prevents people from e-dick size competitions and people actually focus more on the game than getting better/worse elo
there is one thing in this topic which this dude probably brought up:
https://etf2l.org/2024/03/22/6v6-season-47-spring-2024-provisonal-tiers-and-whitelist-plugin-rule-updates/
if etf2l is siding with prem player opinions in the first place, why asking about the general audience about an opinion at all if it doesn't matter anyway?
siding with people who have the most of experience in the game and best understanding of it in a competitive setting is fair (actually i was enforcing this idea when i was an etf2l league admin myself) but this was a spit in the face of people who thought they could make a change by voting, eventually getting their votes disregarded
i guess etf2l wanted to see an opinion of the community but i feel like it was potrayed in a way if they choose A and it gets majority it just gets applied, i think you get this already
the rest is just one-sided opinion and as others said bad faith arguments about the changes being made, because the arguments why the change is being made was presented in the post update, but then people just forget it was made in some post some months ago and think all of these whitelist changes are shoved from someone's ass while all of them are result of some problematic situation or aspect in the game which had its own spotlight in the past like playing with double backpack or idk vaccinator (very old ban)
buudSeinfeldATTENTION: PLEASE DISREGARD ANY AND ALL ZESTY JESUS POSTS!hes also just a noob? https://rgl.gg/Public/PlayerProfile?r=24&p=76561198052431073
THAT GUY IS A SUPER TURBO RACIST AND AN ANNOYING LOSER! DO NOT REPOST HIS SHIT OPINIONS!
giving opinions is always good but how is he dumbing the game down to moving your med or sentry like he has b4nny knowledge and the game figured out when his only experience is highlander in the lowest div
no flame to new players, but personally i didn't have such radical opinions about the meta while i was just starting out
zesty jesus is a guy who can't accept that people can be better at the game he loves than him like many pub players and call like majority of comp players names because they are so sweaty and kill him in a game where the main thing is killing players in the opposing team!!! (j_peg situation with him getting dunked on a pub)
he has played one season of highlander in amateur and has an opinion about every single aspect of competitive you can ever imagine based on his extensive experience
and that is a viewpoint which is repeated by cringetopians who can't develop an opinion of their own based on some actual competitive experience, so they take his takes as their own which eventually creates a bad look for competitive overall
