windows 7 vs windows 8

conductorwindows 8 is windows 7 with extra features and some small performance improvements. The metro UI isn't actually bad, people are just big dumb babies who don't like new things.
This and also minor security additions (the biggest one being related to dynamic memory allocation stuff.
JohnsFatCockNot worth upgrading if you use win7, but if you're buying a new OS, getting anything but 8 is stupid.
This seems to be the conclusion just about everyone I know has reached.

The Razer mousewheel problem.

So eventually, just about every Razer mousewheel starts to have issues scrolling, where sometimes it'll scroll in the reverse direction a click or two. I'm sure a lot of you know what I'm talking about.
I've read all sorts of solutions, from updating firmware/drivers to cleaning it out, but I was wondering if anybody here has found a reliable solution.

Oh hey, just wanted to make this clear: we had to move the event back to the old schedule. It starts at 6PM on Friday, April 12 and ends 6AM Sunday, April 14. The university messed up and double booked sunday evening, and we lost priority.

I'd say 20-30 minutes, sometimes 40 for closer games. Matches are basically limited to an hour, but most don't go that long.
