#38 Remember when invite players streamed scrims? in TF2 General Discussion

If anyone actually watched and paid attention to the "Ask me TF2 Questions" stream I did 3 days ago that went on for 3 hours. I said that BP was the first team I have been on where we develop very specific strats and plays for maps that we practice as much as we can. If the team we go against in a match knew our Process strat where Shrugger and I push in to force the enemy med, they could easily prepare a counter strat for our play.
I bet money that in matches many of you have played in, at least one person on your team will say "I've heard that -insert persons name- likes to push up far left at mid" or "This team likes to take boxes and push across from there." So don't act like knowing how the team you have a match against plays a map isn't helping your team out. TF2 isn't all about DM skills, especially in Invite

Plus, I knew that I was not streaming as much as I was in the past. So to make up for this I made sure to stream every Invite Pug I joined. I've helped in Newbie Mixes and I did a three hour long "TF2 questions" segment where anyone could ask me strat/tf2 questions and I'm planning on streaming the newbie mix spec/questions server this weekend. I've also been trying to figure out my team could do "simple" scrims or something where we don't go over our match strats in a scrim so we can stream it. I can't do that for Viaduct week because we have a match tomorrow and a match the day after that. I have also been working on making this up to everyone by releasing the mumble coms and pov of our matches. I wasn't able to do that for process because the video is corrupted and process demos are now broken.
Then there is my plan to make ESEA map plays videos to get more publicity and excitement for the league. Oh, and I'm back at school

Seeing the attitude some of you are getting in this thread is just ridiculous, and its leaving a bad taste in my mouth
(P.S Streaming at 720p at 60fps will give 90% of people a performance hit)

w0rdup b4nny play roamer instead of demo in an invite match, to see if he could still be the king of big plays and sick aim.

he would just get stuck behind the enemy team

#32 More Coaches in Newbie Mixes in TF2 General Discussion
VickMWe can definitely do that. What I need from the community is a coach/mentor willing to sit in mumble and in that server and just answer questions all night. If anyone comes to me and wants to plan an event like that I can make it whenever they want and I guarantee that we'll get people to show up since we have like 3000 people in the group. Br0 did this a couple months ago and it was really popular.

#23 More Coaches in Newbie Mixes in TF2 General Discussion

There should be a server anyone can spec, ask general questions and learn stuff about the game. I like to explain how and why things work when I coach and its not possible to do that before a game starts or in the middle of it. When games end there is usually a guy killing everyone when I try to show them things, people add up for another or I don't have enough people to give examples of stuff.

I've had mixes where people don't know what a heal order is, or where things are on the map. Then they still don't understand them at the end of the mix because I can't give them a detailed and long enough explanation on it.

Basically, if there was a server people could join where they could sit down and see the reasoning behind strats and choices rather than getting told about about them then immediately expect to know how to do them. It would be a very beneficial server

I can make the process week, it will be crude and not pretty but its a starting point
If you have some pov demos from your matches go ahead and post them with descriptions
