#25 I feel it's time to address the pistol. in TF2 General Discussion
Because entertaining the notion that everyone gets input on game balance regardless of experience or skill is beyond moronic.

No, that's desirable. Thinking that only top invite players qualify to have an opinion on balance is beyond moronic. And elitist. And hypocritical at that if you're not invite yourself.
SPUF posts on balance can actually represent the opinions of the pub community in a non-retarded way if there's lots of threads saying the same thing (eg. sandvich nerf).

And you may not have noticed it, but weapons are not balanced for invite. In fact if nobody but top players can properly use a weapon, it is probably not very good (bargain).

For the record, I don't think that the pistol is such a weapon.

What's wrong with you guys, OP mentioned a semi-valid point and you mindlessly downfrag him and insult him for playing UGC (which apparently isn't even true)?

The pistol does have a random spread and therefore makes aiming harder. The real point imo is that, in the hands of a good scout, it still has enough damage output to put it on par with the shotgun/other secondaries. The argument that it does 200 damage close-range isn't really valid, no scout would not use his scatter at that range. It's just about the pistol not being bad, thus not needing a buff.
If it was made more precise, still nobody would run around with it full time, it would just buff scouts long range which isn't needed.

#11 Transporting computer in Hardware

have it upright if you can fight it tightly between seats like I said. If not just lay it on your passanger seat so you can watch it. Or you could strap it on if it has the right size for that. I never removed any parts when transporting PCs, if you do you'll need a clean box stuffed with paper or something. You can also use the PC box to make the thing larger so it will fit tighter wherever you put it.

If it's just the PC with no loose parts I don't think you need to worry except if you are trying to race Dakar. Try to tightly fit the case between the back of a front seat and the back seats. Or if you are super worried just stuff some moving box with clothes and put it in there.

#61 HRG roster in TF2 General Discussion

Btw if b4nny takes Scout to the heights that he took demo to, we will see some spectacular tf2 and I want that to happen.

Seriously? B4nny, the demo in all of tf2 switching off demo?
Jesus turning to budhism?
Either a very interesting S15 or a very elaborate ruse.

Are you people really recommending MBAM+MSSE and Norton?
Cmon, I thought you were into computers.
If you want free, go avast. Use MBAM to manually scan in safe mode if you think you are infected with something.

#9 Lange's i49 Thanks Thread in TF2 General Discussion

What Ruwin said. Your camera work was the best I've ever seen in any tf2 cast. The HRG vs iM matches were a delight to watch, the timing on the camera was perfect. Not even in demo recasts have I seen better camerawork.

moar pls

downpourthe301stspartanNone. Good headphones+modmic>headsets>razer headsets.ugh but unplugging my headphones everytime i want to go for a walk with my ipod = tedious

What do you mean? A pair of headphones with an attached modmic are just the same as a headset in size/weight/stuff to plug in/out.
