#38 What do you guys keep your room temperature at? in Off Topic

Free heat in my apartment. Keep it around 68-70 most of the time.

AC costs money so I try to go without it unless its brutally hot.

#17 ESEA S16 - Last day to register in TF2 General Discussion
serv0When are we getting our main prize money?? You said checks would be sent out ~1 week ago.

We just filled out our IM forms and mailed them in a few days ago. I guess if the bulk of the checks were already mailed out we would be in the next batch?

#863 ESEA's possible demise? in TF2 General Discussion

that stream was fucking stupid.

1200+ people watching, most of them having no idea whats going on. lots of them now think TF2s comp scene is now legitimately dead because some people decided to overreact due to the fact that we wont have a season of ESEA. Thats 1200+ people who could be newer players, or potential players now thinking the games dead. very irresponsible considering we are certainly in for a rough patch for a little while, and should probably be doing everything in our power to keep people coming into the scene.

as i typed this, registration was extended lol

#1 Soldier LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

Been playing roamer for the last 3 seasons, and I'd like to continue to do so. I also played pocket for ages so I wouldn't be opposed to that either.

Looking to play mid-high IM / main if possible. Feel free to add me on steam.

#36 High IM / Main Scout LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

hands down the best scout I've ever played on a team with. His attitude had improved tremendously over the last 3 seasons. Will also carry your team as sniper on viaduct.

Any top main team would be lucky to have him. Destined for invite.

#739 ESEA's possible demise? in TF2 General Discussion

Ok so ESEA has 2 different plans in mind. Please TELL US what those plans are. You should probably get some feedback from us first. This will of course require you to extend registration. There is no way we will get ~50 teams fully paid in the next few hours, especially if we have no idea what the "plans" are.

- extend registration
- tell us the options
- give us time to pay

EDIT: also, if this season is scrapped please don't drop TF2. If cevo falls through everyone will come back.

#9 RIP Harold Ramis in Off Topic

RIP Ghostbusters 3

Ramis was an icon. He will be missed.

edit: everyone pretty much knows Ramis for Groundhog Day and ghostbusters, but if you have never seen Bedazzled I'd highly recommend it. Hilarious movie.

randoIf you were going to play esea please pay your fees, you will get a refund if there is no season it is the best chance we have to not die.

I don't think anyone wants to pay right now for a few reasons

- unsure if the season will happen
- main and/or IM might have to close and if you pay a fee for those, then get moved down a division you have to pay ANOTHER fee. If the season does happen you may not get a refund for the first fee because they only promised refunds if the season doesn't happen

- refunds could take a long time to get

If registration extends ill pay up

#710 ESEA's possible demise? in TF2 General Discussion

Everyone should MSG killing on steam and ask him to consider a plan that seems to be coming together.

-extend registration
-close the main division, shift main teams to IM, and IM to open
-close IM if nesecary
-maintain TF2 this way for one season and if cevo fails reopen IM/MAIN when everyone comes back

Please +frag if you support this idea, and MSG killing on steam with it.

#681 ESEA's possible demise? in TF2 General Discussion

Now before I get yelled at for suggesting this, my team won IM... We are supposed to play in main this season. This plan would effect us.

ESEA needs to take emergency action. kill the main division, shift all the main teams down to IM, and all the IM teams to open. Have a season to keep things afloat. If cevo fails this season, everyone will flood back to ESEA.
