Maybe I'm out there, but as someone who at this point is mainly interested in the competitive side of TF2, when I do go pub, I want crits on. The magic of TF2 as a pub game is the absurdity and silliness, and crits just add to that. I just don't see why people want this no crit pubs. I find myself laughing when I pub TF2, because shit's so dumb. But to each his own. And actual system for finding servers does look really nice.

So many Dota tournaments get sponsored through shop/ticket money, and it's starting in CS. It wouldn't even be difficult for Valve to implement, it just depends on whether or not they give a fuck and whether or not they think there's viable enough organizations/teams for this.

I really like this idea. Unfortunately I've been flat broke the past few months but I'd love to contribute a little later on in the year when I'm more flush, even though I don't play the game much anymore. Hope this works out. It's just not viable to have great content coming out consistently in the long term without real income.
