why is it called tf2tags.com when it could be tags.tf
getting .tf domains means extra effort for those in the U.S., (at least in my experience) and it's also more expensive than a .com

(For a shitty laptop, Lubuntu is a good option, it doesn't look pretty but the point is to use the lowest amount of resources possible next to just a cli. ) Pretty much any Linux distro is better than windows from an optimization standpoint.
(If you refuse to switch to Linux for 1 reason or another, look at my fps guide here, (Main focus is installing Comanglia's fps config and removal of junkware))

Also check for driver updates for your video card from Nvidia or amd directly. DO NOT USE a "driver updater" they are snake oil 90% of the time.
i noticed that linux performed better for me in many, many ways, but when i played tf2, i got far less FPS
do you know what the cause of that could be?
