Had a similar incident with some soda, ended up with a few sticky switches. Carefully cleaning them with 96% ethyl alcohol fixed it for me.

Well, I'm using KBN hud too and I went ahead and checked if I had it there. Sure looks like it. I uploaded my hud files if you want to use them or just copy the crosshair over to yours.

Just navigate to hudlayout.res in scripts and find "xHairCirclePulse" and turn visible from "0" to "1".
e: forgot to say that if you're gonna use the one I uploaded I edited a few things to my liking, such as the way the damage numbers look.
