Also, speaking of football fields..... anyone remember cp_ashville??? LOL
MarxistLast was very unpopular.
Heh... god it was like trying to run down a football field, but with a ceiling so low you couldn't actually do meaningful/interesting rocket jumps. Also the football field had a heavy shooting you the whole time, maybe a sentry too. Plus there's a sniper/stickies on doors (since you don't need to sticky the point) so you are forced to pop early only to end your uber with one rocket left and an enemy combo staring you down with 100%. So much fun.
Can't forget mid had so many edges that would eat your rockets for 0 damage, that was fun too.
The aesthetics were cool, but it was really rough to play in many ways.
dMenaceTony Swan for sure. We got on the same pug team a couple times. Was weird.
30 minutes of smooth jazz
Give the medic a primary that lets them utilize (at will by pulling out the primary- not passive) friendly projectiles for explosive jumps/escapes. This would be skill based for both the medic and the soldier/demo and would require the friendly soldier/demo to sacrifice potential damage to the enemy to help get their medic out. Not only that but it would be incredibly fun and satisfying for everyone involved.
Not sure about letting it damage enemies... one the one hand it would annoying similar to how pyro reflects are annoying. However, it's also like.. you're not negating enemy damage and reflecting it back you're just alley ooping your teammate's rocket.
Since half of us are just quoting comp tf2 memes at this point... I have SEARCHED FOR SO LONG for the full quote and I can't for the life of me find it but the fragga post about how he killed a demoman with stickies he laid down like a year before on a different map, fvcking stickies fvcking ridiculous
I think I'm unreasonably bothered by the fact that in this day and age where we have various ways to find internet history ("nothing is ever truly deleted") I honestly think that quote might be literally gone. :[
how could i forget the mythical and universally pleasurable soldier shotgun double meatshot on a scout
triggering dead ringer on a spy then predicting where they're gonna go and boom, headshot
then sad because damage reduction
this is the greatest thing i've seen in a long time, i'm actually dying LOL
to be honest this hits a little too close to home for me too....

am i outta the loop on something, that video was awesome why the down frags
Are you on a super old version? Maybe uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Mumble if you haven't already?
oh man how could i forget to add Tango here aahhh
DwapkingI can't relate to the game being toxic at all. This seems to be something people love to bring up in the reddit/tf2tv drama threads, but in my experience it's just not true. My good memories vastly outnumber the bad ones as far as tf2 is concerned.
Maybe i'm just lucky or too tolerant of toxicity?
The level of toxicity is heavily correlated with how far up the ladder you climb. It's not guaranteed that you'll have similarly bad experiences, but that chance goes up a LOT as you get into higher levels of play and therefore higher personal competitive drives.
Having said that, that's no excuse and I've always been astounded by how absolutely terrible many people can act when given a layer of anonymity and a lack of repercussions.
TheFragilehttps://play.esea.net/match/2067232
A lot of people forget about this one, but this was AI's only win of the season. EG ended up tying with my team for the 4th LAN spot, but we won due to head-to-head record I think.
If EG won this match, they would have qualified for LAN.
Hey man not to diminish any accomplishments, but we all know ducky threw that game so he wouldn't have to go to lan.
