It depends on the preferences of whoever runs the server. Some people dislike sniper in DM because generally whatever team has the sniper is basically down a man in all the fights around mid and it becomes really one sided.

Try turning off any dynamic overclocking in your BIOS. (stuff like Intel Turbo Boost)
Also, if there are options for something like "cooling mode" and selections for active or passive make sure it's set to active to engage fans instead of passive which slows the CPU to regulate heat.
If mixup can find and replicate the confidence they had at the S15 LAN (back from the losers bracket to win two best of threes against 4G and take the title) they'll be able to make it to the main stage. However, that's a lot to ask of a team who, from what I understand, hasn't been practicing nearly as much as the other top teams.
Having said that, of the few matches I've had the chance to see so far this LAN is looking pretty incredible. Good luck to everyone there, and thanks for putting on a show.
I've been using the Comply S400 (they're the cheapest Comply tips at ~$14 for three pairs) and the Veritas mediums ($10 for four pairs). Haven't decided which I like more. The Veritas tips are a finer foam that's softer so they're more comfortable but I don't know if they will degrade faster too.

For notTF2, I honestly can't decide between The Contenders 2 and It's Pekka 2

It looked about as clear as a downloaded episode of Naruto should look, but it defaulted to the VLC webplayer plugin for me which is very clunky IMO. Pretty sure that's just dependent on the format of the video though.
I have them and can confirm that they are amazing, not just for the price. Combined with the foam tips of your choice they come close to what I imagine in the perfect workout IEMs: cheap, durable build, decent isolation, enhanced bass with clear everything else, and a mic with an Android remote.
I probably sound like a fanboy but man, I'm buying a backup pair right now.
Hey Max, if you want to show people on the internet one of your TF2 screenshots you need to upload it to an image sharing website such as imgur: http://imgur.com/ Then, post the link to the image.
Alternatively, you could upload the screenshot to your Steam Community page and share it with us from there. Good luck!
flametake out the vehicles and this game has potential
Toxikk dev on youtube commentAcutally, it's "Vehicular Game Modes" and they're totally optional. But a lot of people like them (incl. most of the dev team)... so we brought them. ;)
EIDT: RIP too late :[
Game looks really cool. It looks like what Halo could have and should have been if it were developed primarily for PC. The only thing that scares me is the lack of progression, as I fear the game will lose players fast after the "new game" feel wears off with no goals to work toward. Hopefully they integrate esports features or something directly into the game to create replayability.
Try completely uninstalling adobe flash/air from your computer, then download and install the newest version.
Also, try enabling the HTML5 youtube player if you haven't already: https://www.youtube.com/html5
I'm not trying to make any promises here, but unless your computer is having some serious issues TF2 should be running at least 60 fps at all times on your laptop with any decent config. However something is making your laptop really slow, slower than its supposed to be.
1) If you haven't already modified your power settings, make sure your laptop is plugged into AC power when you're trying to play games. By default, the CPU will run slower to extend battery life.
2) Try running Gamebooster to shut down a ton of background crap that could be hogging all your computers resources.
3) If your laptop is running hot, it will slow itself down to prevent overheating. Try getting a laptop cooler and see if that helps your fps.
4) Make sure your HDD is set to defrag on a schedule (I think Win8 does this automatically). Try verifying TF2's game cache.
5) Update your graphics drivers just in case.
6) Try setting the -autoconfig launch option, this will make TF2 ignore any graphics configs and set all video settings to default just in case you have some strange setting that's crippling your performance.
7) Finally, if all else fails try reinstalling TF2 and forgoing all configs to see if a fresh install of TF2 with no altered settings still runs like garbage.
Heads up Monoprice has the EC1-EVO and the AM both on sale for 37.04 which I'm pretty sure is a great deal:

Would it be possible to list the time zones in the standard "UTC ±X" format instead of various cities?
