I haven't been playing tf2 in almost a month because I've been getting a bit bored with playing competively with my team and don't wanna play pubs or anything either. Is it normal to have breaks for a little while? I hope I get back to tf2 because it's such a big part of my life already... Any way to try and get back into it?

Biotornados2111BioEasily 250+, if you video card isnt a complete pile of trash, you will be good. Not sure, could I save a bit of money and go with something a little lower :\
Or I guess I should stay safe and get that, alright, thanks for the help!
Check if you have a microcenter near you. They sell 3570k's for $170 in-store.
Damit, I live in Ireland :( Heard those microcenters have amazing prices, I'm out of luck

BioJust get a 3570k and be happy. You will have to get a new motherboard aswell.
Yes, I know. I've already got that planned. I read that a 3570K will be too much for tf2, any ideas on how much fps it is?
My current GPU isn't a problem because I run chris' fps config but I want to upgrade from my dual core 2.7Ghz CPU as I am getting low fps, 150-250 fps when nothing is happening, can get to 20 fps on a 32 mann server and down to 40 fps in 6v6 matches. I can't find benchmarks for tf2 anywhere but I was thinking of getting an i3 or an i5. I was wondering if you fine folks could tell me what CPU you own and what is your average fps along with maybe your min fps? I know this isn't related to streaming but I'm sort of desperate, nobody will help me, thanks, and any help at all will help!
