the sheer concept of the pomson is so absurd to me, it's been over five years since its first release, and I still don't understand how it's been able to stick around for so long. it's like if scout had a secondary that gave him 100 health and made him resist explosive damage, it spits in the face of the core concept of what a class should naturally have a disadvantage against

does the pomson still have that glitch where, if you shoot through a teammate, everyone but you and the teammate can't see the laser projectile
e: for context, I learned of that through this:
The Pomson 6000 ban is due to its invisible particles glitch (when the beams are fired through a friendly players, the beam becomes invisible to all but those two players).
flamei would like to remind you all that when there were updates in the past that changed sticky or rocket jumping a lot of people lost their minds.
this will do it on a completely new level if you actually insist on them changing the bounding boxes
be careful what you wish for.
a console command that jump servers can auto-set on older maps to use rectangular bounding boxes solves the one justified niche it would otherwise have
if ppl actively leave beyond that, they were already leaving when matchmaking inevitably changes a million other things anyways
SideshowSunshine has been played for the whole of 2015. A year is long enough to "figure out" a map in TF2, it's not a complex game. It's been in two seasons, an intercontinental and various cups. The argument that it just needs more time holds no weight in my view. It's not a new map any more.
this would be a more viable argument if one of the maps people have been pushing out in this thread wasn't granary, a map that's been around since TF2 was first released, and is pretty clearly an example of a map that wasn't truly figured out until recently
sniper can shoot your head from far away with little warning, engineer sentry is almost entirely quiet when wrangled, and best heavy weapon is tomislav so even the heavy doesn't make much noise on his own
have you considered getting good

"Additionally, it's good against new players, and then the Pyro can use the crits gained from bad players against good players."
hey there, I'm a good player! oh look this pyro is ubered and taunting in front of me, better be within his flamethrower distance until the uber goes away
alternatively: hey there, I'm a good player! I walked around a chokepoint corner with no awareness and got killed by crits, because apparently that never happens with any other high-DPS class like a heavy and I should never expect this?

EU gimmicks on everything-allowed matches inbound
from windows 8 onwards, nope
your only choices are to either move back to windows 7, or stick to full screen forever
thinking about this, doesn't this mean that there's points where pyro's airblast gets easier or harder, entirely depending on the angle the projectile is coming from?

bearodactylyou might want to make it so that there can't be duplicates (looks like two people submitted a single question mark)

r.i.p.
it seems a bit difficult to throw in a custom crosshair than before (from my awful-at-hud-editing pov), but everything else looks far more consistent, especially since the HP and ammo having different kinds of shadows before always bugged the living hell out of me. I can't wait to see what it looks like fully-complete
and they have ways of tagging those non-front-page articles as still being articles
TFTV's solution to sectioning importance is to remove any non-top articles because nobody involved knows how to make a news system built on anything other than single-level. that is not a sane solution
so the answer is yes, then
that's a proper section of nyt btw http://cooking.nytimes.com/
I don't get it, do you all really believe that this is how news sites actually work
did new york times immediately die an awful death when they released a cooking recipe instead of working all of their staff on breaking news coverage
