#1 Is this computer any good? in Hardware

I'm thinking of buying a new computer, and asked some friends and one of them said they could sell me a computer for 300. Are these specs any good? How well will tf2/other games like csgo or dota run?

Try replacing hudplayerclass with someone elses. IIRC valve changed hudplayerclass when he added 3d playermodels.

DreAfter recent Tf2 update, hud tends to crash the game.Crashes right after first loading screen is over (Before main menu).

Try deleting scoreboard.res and see what happens. VERY WRONG IM STUPID DONT DO THIS OK IM STUPID

EDIT: Try deleting this instead WaveCompleteSummaryPanel.res

LionxJust in case I get a 120hz, are there any computer specs that are needed to run it? I have a fairly old comp so I just want to be sure.

Normally your fps should be at around your refresh rate x2 +1 so get a computer that can run tf2 at 240 fps, and cap it at fps_max 241.

And the font in question is http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/neris neris-semibold. Any help?Did you install the font? (right-click/install)

Nope didn't work. Should have specified that i tried installing the font already.

You need to use exact font name in clientscheme.res, not the one you see (or rename) on screen as file name. So if you have font (let's say Verdana) named asdf.ttf you can't use 
"Verdana16"{"1"{
                                "name"		"asdf"
				"tall"		"16"
				"additive"	"0"
				"antialias" "1"}}
"asdf" as name. You need to right click, go to properities, advanced and take name from there.

Okay so wen i go to properties and go to advance, name doesn't show. I'm on windows xp if it helps.
