KoobadoobsThey did say 64 items, not 64 hats/miscs... that's a good sign, right?

Can't be, weapons aren't supported by the Gold Star process right now.

It really depends on what provider you get. If it's a good provider, then you'll have smooth sailing even with slightly lower specs. If it's a bad one, then you'll get an unplayable experience no matter what you get.

KalkinIt's not "the big possible one". It's a fact.
Alright then. Do we just assume that if or when ESEA TF2 dies, the upper NA TF2 competitive scene dies? Or is there a way to make this necessary step happen?
I mean, as a scene we should be proud that we're not dependent on Valve for keeping us alive, but instead we're dependent on a not-necessarily-so-benevolent organization. I'm not saying that we should throw ESEA by the side of the road, but independence is a good thing to work toward, and we're almost there. If we want comp TF2 to be truly independent, we have to find a way to make things like LAN happen.
I don't doubt for a second that there will be a replacement (being only one of what are probably many working on such a project) if ESEA TF2 ceases to be a thing in the future, but the big question is whether the NA competitive community is ready to accept the sacrifices that have to be made (the big possible one being no LAN) in order to make such a league work.
stabby did play in a SPUF event that I hosted previously, so the odds are decently better than that of STAR_ or Jerma.
Actually, I kinda frequent these forums more often nowadays than I do SPUF.
But you should make a Steam group and have that be the source of all updates. That's the only 'neutral' location available and would be more organized than all of these separate threads across communities.
Try placing it in a folder "custom/core/cfg" and restart your server.
DeepCan you still not see any streams beyond the top 100?
Nope, followed channels makes mention of "Android-viewable", which would seem to indicate the same restriction.

420pac
but wouldn't 420pac be 420,000?
42,000, actually.
blueeAlthough if someone wants to take that as a challenge, be my guest :D
It doesn't help that you can't change the colors with a server-side plugin yet, although we did file that feature request in the Valve tracker.
MawrWas wondering if you knew the attack was just for your dedicated server, or on the whole network. And any other info you have would be greatly appreciated.
It was likely his entire provider.
As he said, a popular virtual server control panel (SolusVM) was exploited and that exploit was published on Sunday. That started up a flood of attacks on virtual server providers everywhere, with some getting hit worse than others (mine suffered a huge hit which is taking a while to recover from, and my own server barely escaped the chaos).
I doubt anybody targeted wezlyyy specifically, but rather he became a higher-value target as soon as the attackers had access to the servers and were able to peek at what each one had.
To wezlyyy, best of luck in rebuilding.
If GameSurge could be configured properly this wouldn't happen... there's a way to prevent the server from thinking ATF2 is flooding with connections.
Nope, it's not happening.
KalkinAt the moment it doesn't look like this is happening.
Sorry about this guys.
