epsilon is not trying to be better than their worst performance at lan.
they are trying to be the best to win the next lan.
they need to be better than i49's scout combo which won't happen unless schocky gets back to shape and flippy will keen up. (which both are obviously possible)
i know these r hypotheticals and i58 is a year away but epsilon performed well at i52 (excluding finals) with a worse roster than they do now and when froyo's roster was better. i dont see why they "need" flippy and shocky to perform better than the i49 scout duo did.

Gear's good but I dont think he was the biggest factor in epsilon's success. maybe im wrong but it would be a shame to not see the core of this roster at i58 just because 1-2 people are unable to play.not many roamers able to play with as little heals as gear got due to me and mike hogging them all :D
i would have thought that any top roamer would be willing to adapt their playstyle and work on it for the next 3? seasons to have a chance to play on (potentially) the best lineup in the history of european tf2
