So basically, now we know that you should .reportffw and .confirm before 30 minutes. As gay as a ffw is the system doesn't naturally handle waiting too long and it's your team's fault for not fielding 6. Be like carnage and smoke a victory blunt (although that one overturned too).

For ESEA matches, you could load up binds from F1-F12 for each player based on their name.
ie:
bind "f1" "spec_player team.player1"
bind "f2" "spec_player team.player2"
bind "f3" "spec_player team.player3"
bind "f4" "spec_player team.player4"
etc. Note that it has to be the full name (including team for ESEA, since they add it on).
Minimap will probably never be implemented because you'd either A) need a positional hack or B) need valve to implement it (since there's no built in minimap/radar for TF2 like other games). Maybe if a spectator is willing, they could get a positional radar hack (get the X/Y coordinates + looking angles of a player, display in a box, then get a top/down mapping view). Still a bit too far fetched for now.
As far as suggestions go, I wouldn't mind having a "thumbnail" of freelook or freelook with thumbnail of FPOV, but it would require two people with one relaying with an uncertain amount of delay.
It's intended, looked at the CSS.

So if you aren't seeing them, your settings are weird.
It was added (dunno if on purpose or not) with the new update. If people are that annoyed enigma can change it.
For those who don't get it:
My Growlithe worth than my bite
My growl is worse than my bite.
s->th lisp or whatever it's called.
So you made this thread to show that you're an asshole?
w0rdupdon't euros play on some dumb timer system that pretty much rewards/incentivizes turtling if you manage to knock a round off your opponent?
It's more of a problem with their scoring system. It's win by five or highest score after 30 minutes. If the teams skill levels are anywhere close, risking losing a push isn't worth it when you have the lead. It's much harder to push from last to 2nd than 2nd to last, and at 30 minutes you're going to win anyways. No point in trying to turn 4-2 to 9-2 because it's not going to happen in that time period. American system promotes closing out a game instead of risk a push for an unnecessary lead.

I think you win. I think I need a 3 second attention span to handle it.
dingoso the only difference between an over edit and an artsy video is the fact that the effects transitions etc are bad and artsy ones are good? that doesnt really make sense considering that its all opinion based.
It's "artsy" if they try to tell a story (ie it's some hyped moment or really clutch that was an important factor in the game). Over-editing for this is based on the premise that frags come first, and all the fast-forwarding or explosion filters and what not is just trying to squeeze out more "value" from frags than exists or rush through too fast to appreciate the frags/situations.
clorgsynchroI'm pretty sure "nobody gets along/enjoys playing with him" is exactly the right reason to not let somebody participate in a community-run system.
Not saying that's the case here, but seriously, how can you honestly say that 90% of the players not enjoying their PUGs with someone isn't a good reason to ban them from said pugs?
then don't pick him
He actually captains quite a bit. Nobody else usually does though so he's actually doing a service sometimes.
I thought this was going to be about vhalin, but I wasn't disappointed.
Why didn't this work for vhalin?

zigzterIf I got a dollar for every time someone commented on the site being too white and lost a dollar every time you'd comment back in a vaguely condescending tone, I'd probably have around $0.
On topic, I think the site looks a lot more professional now.
Because I'd like to know why. Is it an age/generation difference, lighting problems, etc? It's not a problem as a preference, but to say it burns eyes/eye strain/causes eye problems is something I'd like to know about. I can understand why people would want a darker setup, but people have been pretty adamant about it being way too bright.
Question, how many of you guys actually used the internet during the days of dialup? White webpages were common (and still are), but then again people got out more generally. I mean facebook is white by default, google, yahoo, etc. When did white start burning your eyes?
CSS position: fixed is really easy to implement and shouldn't slow down browsers considering it's static (no need to even update the screen).

Wow I never realized 4chan greentext was called meme arrows (googled and some people do). Internet changes so much.
