#2 Spy in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hey dude it's great that your getting in to competitive TF2, however, this we don't have the biggest highlander community here. I would recommend going to: http://www.ugcleague.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?61-Highlander-Players-Looking-for-Teams

You have a much bigger chance of finding a team there.

#1 LF Medic Mentor IM+ in Mentoring

I'm the main med for Snorkeling Orcas, we are currently first in Open and I would really like to get a mentor in IM or higher that could work with me on positioning and other things.

Snorkeling Orcas had really good matchs versus We Made Silkthread and ascended to the next level, too bad ascended was down 1 for most of the time. Would have been a good match if they had 6

#2 Iron Player LF Team in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hey dude! It's great that you're interested in competitive TF2! However, this is not the best place to be looking for an Iron team, many people here do not play in UGC anymore. I would highly recommend that you look here at: http://www.ugcleague.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?59-6v6-Players-Looking-for-Teams

Hope you find a team soon!

#1 Valkeri LFT Med in Recruitment (looking for team)

Looking to play Open this season, I'd be willing to play in CEVO as well.

I've been on two teams in Open, started on main and was then moved to backup due to time constraints, both finished 8-8. My schedule is more open now and I am willing to commit a lot of time to improve individually and with my team.

#1 Medic LFT Open/Low IM in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hello, my name is MrPerfect. I am currently looking to play medic on a Open team with playoff potential or a low IM team. I'm willing to play in ESEA or CEVO or both. I'm willing to watch demos and do whatever it takes to improve.

Past Experience:
Medic-Friday Night Bingo (8-8) Open S14
Medic-Ohana Means Family (8-8) Open S15

I was scrimming with Get Wrecked in IM for several weeks then team fell through so I went to go play for Ohana.

Highlander:
Medic-S10 Gold
Medic-S11 Gold

I really want to find a group of people that chill in mumble a lot and are looking to win but have fun while doing it. I have a fairly open schedule and should be able to make most scrims and all matches.

#95 Stalemates Revisited in TF2 General Discussion
IceCrystalWhat if the round ends while you hold mid you get 1 match point, the round ends while you hold mid and second you get 2 match points, and capping until the end gives you 3 match points. The defending team gets 2 match points at the end of each round, unless their last is captured and they get none. Winning team is first to, say, 9 match points, and if they get to 9 at the same time it'd just be first to take the lead after that.

Hopefully I read this right... but wouldn't this just encourage the team defending 2nd to not push into mid? If Team A caps mid and the round time runs out, then Team B gets 2 points and Team A gets 1 point. Now lets say that Team A gets wiped trying to push into 2nd, is it even worth it for Team B to push out? Team B might only make it to mid and decide that Team A has too many respawns up to be able to push into their second point, so why even push out of their second? This may solve the problem of the offensive team having to push, but the defensive team would be perfectly happy with sitting on their second point and thus gaining 2 points for themselves.

Just thought of this too, if you automatically get 2 points for defending your second when round time runs out, then why even go to the initial mid fight? Get your engi, heavy and whatever else you want and turtle on your second, almost making it impossible for the attacking team to push in.

#5 Help with Chrome Extension in Off Topic

I did run malwarebytes thinking that it might have been this, but it didn't come up with anything. I got rid of it by doing what #2 said and re-installing it

#1 Help with Chrome Extension in Off Topic

So basically, theres an extension called SavveNewaAAppz, what it does is highlights a random word and leads you to an ad if you click on it.

*where it says power and boot*
Its really annoying so i decided to delete it from my computer. I went into my programs and found something similarly named and deleted it but this extension is still there, even after i remove it from the chrome extension list. I'm really bad with this kinda stuff, can anyone help me?

#10 New to comp in Mentoring
PurplDrankThanks guys i'll look into it. How do the newbie mixes play, i see a mumble server but what about a tf2 server?

Every Saturday, we will send out an announcement via the Newbie Mix group that was provided above. When you get that announcement you should join the mumble and select a preferred class, in your case medic. After teams have been drafted your coach will give you the server info that you will need. If you have any questions about Newbie Mixes feel free to add me or talk to another admin next Saturday.
