ProtatoSOME newer graphics cards perform better on dx9, including mine. Maybe you could try switching to the dx9 config?
Should I leave everything I have in already? Or replace with dx9 frames?

Help with Chris' FPS config

TF2 General Discussion
So recently I had been dropping frames for no apparent reason, so I decided to get Chris' Fps config, I did and it did not really help. I am still getting well below 60 fps and when I did not have it on I was getting around 100 constant. I dont know I if I set this up wrong or what, but so far Im regretting having it.
Please help!

We would love for you and other coaches to come to coach the Newbie Mixes! The last few we have had a HUGE Newbie to Coach ratio.
We have also added the new Newbie PUGS. These are for people who feel they are above the skill level of needing a coach, this give Newbies more time with the coaches while expierenced players can play against each other.
Remember its tomorrow and they start at 9 EST and end at 12 EST!

thrasherEasiest way to fix this... Do a system restore to back before you got the virus. That usually fixes these kind of problems. Not the "best" way, but it's fast and easy.

So, I recently have gotten a virus on my computer, I used Malwarebytes and MSE to remove it. I noticed after this virus that my FPS has dropped and I can now, if I look closely, see horizontal lines going down my computer screeen.
As I am typing this I am getting HUGE spikes in CPU Usage %, when not typing Im at about 15% which seems unusual, when typing I am getting insane spike, its reaching above the 7th line easily each time. Would really like some help!
Also, Internet Explorer is saying its takin up about 4 CPU while resting to up to 16 CPU directly after typing.

Saberthere's sort of a reason why newbie mixes exist: an easy way to get people into the comp format at a low level
and honestly irc is so ridiculously easy to learn, though i do admit it takes a little bit to adjust to
The problem with Newbie Mixes being the "beginning" for people getting into competitive is that there are many people who come in to play that are WAY above the skill level of the Newbie Mixes, because they didn't get picked in pug.na or tf2mix and they just want to play.
So maybe a new way to get PUGs going would benefit the newer comp. players because they wouldn't be getting destroyed by higher skilled players.

Newbie Mixes: Offclassing and How Can We Improve?

huffI'd like to add, if you have a coach who is offclassing sniper the entire time, or heavy, don't feel intimidated to ask if he should change back.
Coaches will be playing in the Combo: Pocket or Medic. They also should not really need to off class.
