Hey everyone,
I made a command-line interface for rcon that you can use with tf2 to run rcon commands from Command Prompt (windows) or the terminal (linux). It lets you connect to a server, sends rcon commands and receives their output - and also lets you save servers in config so that you don’t have to copy the rcon info each time. Pretty simple, really.
It’s fully free, open source, and licensed under the GPLv3 - so you can audit the code yourself.
I need testers! If you’d like to give it a try check it out here: https://github.com/vibeisveryo/rcon
Let me know if you find any bugs or find it useful!
always got prompt personalized support whenever i have had a problem so far. my server started off with occasional lag issues and tragic guided/helped/upgraded the box every step of the way, so now it's silky smooth.
servers are well maintained and have rgl configs, maps, etc. all super easy to install and maintain & the creator has lots of experience running tf2 servers for the NA community
great service at a great cost, i 100% recommend.
another possible thing: two fixed maps per week, so it rotates like: AB, CD, EF, GH, AD, BC, EH, FG or something like that
Enough is enough. It's 2023 now. We've had our fun but it's time to grow up. Let's put an end to memes and this childish copy/paste culture.
EnzoDBcan someone tell me the specifics on what logs integration means? I'm a bit lost on that
disclaimer: rgl staff but not involved in this or a dev
my best guess is it means logs.tf functionality being moved onto the site
and some NA (Canadians) too lol
with that said: cs:go doesn't need any more tournaments than it already has, and including both in the wish list will just mean one more cs:go tournament
blAstropajaroembarrassing there are so many jokes on this thread when a country of 40 million people are having their lives uprooted from violencePeople can joke about things as a coping mechanism for the horrible things going on. Comedy is separate from supporting tragedy
there's a difference between joking to cope with the situation and making jokes at the victims' expense or about future risk, like fucking "cu@"
DeathyCan't argue with facts and logic such as this thread, I admit defeat
si vrai !!!
Yumyumwaiting for the AimIsAFriend arc
aim is a friend not food
I love the theming of the map so far. I guess my question is what creative liberties you are willing to take to change aspects of Badwater that make it an awful map. Imo how well your map plays largely depends on that
yeah just reruns
wheatchampionThat being said, it's a bit of a pointless comparison to make as it does not account for the inherent talent those players had. To be that good at the game that early in its development required a great amount of skill and you can't really factor that into comparisons like these because they work on the assumption Reptile and his teammates have been stuffed into a cryogenic freezer until now.
i mean, the only value is as a thought experiment, but that in itself is pretty fun
i guess it comes down to the technicalities of it though.
are you putting the two teams on a server and telling them to insta rup? or are you giving them an hour's, a day's, a week's notice so that the old team had time to look up map reviews, etc
