Most CPUs turn down their frequencies at temperatures above 70C to prevent damage. As setsul said, you should check your cooler. I had a similar situation with my old PC, and all it needed was a new application of thermal paste to fix things.

It's not that much of a mess now, the PSU and HDD are now in another cardboard box, and cable management is surprisingly not that bad.
Just got the parts for my new PC build (thanks Setsul!), but the cabinet hasn't arrived yet....

I tried to do something similar with my i55 graphs, but this is a much better way of doing this.
