Euros not cheering for the American teams isn't disrespectful, they're rooting for the euros why would they cheer for the US.
There isn't any reason to boo for them but why would you cheer for them.
If you were at a basketball game, rooting for the Lakers and the other team scored a three would you cheer for them
Harassing and the other stuff you mentioned is pretty bad though.

If you guys were actually thinking off switching of Twitch, livegaming.tv would be a good choice, they have good admins and just recently hosted a tf2 tournament, also sub buttons and quality options for everyone.
It's gonna take a lot more to make me stop using Twitch though.
