StaticVoidAll of you complaining about no weapon/class bans fail to realize that Valve isn't going to just take ESEA or UGC's configs and slap their name on it. They're focused on releasing a MM that, like others have said, will bridge the gap from everyday pubs, to much more serious play. ESEA and UGC will still exist, they will continue to run their configs, and Valve will run theirs. It's similar to how competitive in CS:GO works. CS:GO MM servers do not match the same server configs as ESEA, so I would expect Valve to follow a similar route with TF2.
I don't care that the config is going to be different from ESEA's. I care that the config is going to likely be terrible and thus no one is going to enjoy it, competitive players or pubbers. If it's not fun it isn't going to bring any new players into competitive.

If valve is willing to put a lot of time into balancing weapons matchmaking could possibly work with no weapon's white list. I don't think no class limits, which is what I expect valve to do, will ever work out. It will be a stalematey fuck-fest of multiple engineers and demos when holding last and simply won't work. Hopefully this isn't the route valve decides to take, but they don't exactly have the best track record as far as balance goes so I have my doubts.

We didn’t have cable television when I was a kid, so I used to watch The Joy of Painting all the time on PBS. It’s just extremely calming and also really cool to see the paintings he is able to make in such a short amount of time. To this day, if something is stressing me out sometimes I’ll watch an episode of Joy of Painting. I think it’s really cool twitch chose to do this marathon! I hope it introduces a lot of people to the show. c:
