contracts are nice, nerfs are good, new weapons mostly useless/buggy. honestly feels like they've spent most time on new skin system. 6/10 update since there were no interesting changes to any underpowered unlocks. seems like an update that should have come out on christmas tbh.
EDIT: oh yea no mm changes lol
it feels like the qf uber builds so much slower after the update.. not sure if its undocumented change or just a bug. before the update you could build uber insanely fast, but now it seems that building rate is decreased on fully overhealed players which im pretty sure wasnt the case before the update.
wickedplayer494Valve- Fixed an exploit related to the Heavy's health and the G.R.U.
Valve really should throw the Steam Subscriber Agreement at Delfy and others. Even Uncle Dane confirmed last night that the only thing he's in it for is money (bonus points if Kevin O'Leary's voice popped into your head as you read "money"). I think nobody would mind if this section was thrown right in their face:
the Steam Subscriber AgreementValve may terminate your Account or a particular Subscription for any conduct or activity that is illegal, constitutes a Cheat, or otherwise negatively affects the enjoyment of Steam by other Subscribers.
Enough already. Sure, Blizzard and Riot may be at times just a touch overzealous (particularly in the case of Blizzard), but at least they actually take action against people knowingly maliciously exploiting. Even a temporary casual suspension if they got reported for griefing is better than the nothing that we're accustomed to.
there is nothing wrong with doing something just for money. after all its supposed to be the main motivator for doing things. I agree that he should get banned from tf2 tho, but at the same time i doubt valve would actually fix these glitches if nobody would popularize them.
also dragons fury is still bugged and sometimes doesnt register hits.
zanathe only contract i havent done is the 20 stars one, other than that all of em are done. i just dont wanna do so many painful broken bonuses
its not rly considered done unless you have done every bonus objective imo.
GrinReaperWait what, so your telling me that I can't apply them to my weps and have to create them?
ye pretty much, stupid af
why cant i apply this to my main strange weapon with killstreaks and rename and description rename. not to mention all these ppl with strange parts on their weapons. rly disappointing and seems like a cashcrab to get ppl buying those things all over again.
text her that u love her.
EDIT: 27.10.2017 update -Fixed a case where players standing directly in front of the Pyro would not get burned.

EDIT: New cube was added closer to your face in order to fix not being able to hit enemies standing directly in front of you. the new cube is not visually displayed, but whatever.

looks like the new hitboxes are coming out directly out of the tip of flametrhower. this kinda explains why you cant hit people who stand right in front of you.
starting position doesnt seem to change with ping variance, which means that flame mojo is finally fixed. Flameboxes are still not 100% track based, you need to lead your target a little bit to hit them, but its easier now since flame boxes move faster.

generally it seems like visuals match almost perfectly with flameboxes, i just find that when you move to the sides using "a" and "d" your flames will sometimes come out from a weird angle. its new and weird, but matches visuals almost perfectly.

flameboxes are still kinda wonky when it comes to hitting solid objects, but they are technically still visually correct

also there are some visial bugs/flashes that can happen sometimes when visuals are hitting a solid object.

update was generally a good improvement, especially fixing the flame mojo which made flamethrowers inconsistent. flame boxes are still wonky, but the visuals will also be wonky when that happens now, which is kinda good? there are still some things that can be improved tho.
I would kinda recommend to play with viewmodels on on pyro now since visuals are actually helpful.
it looks like 460 days is not enough to remove random crits and random bullet spread. what a shame
in toonhud every crosshair is perfectly centered on size 16,24 and 32
stephoverall this seems like a great update but i'm not sure how it took them this long to rebalance/add a few weapons and fix casual lobbying...
plus, do we even know if they actually *fixed* flamethrower mojo? they didn't specifically state that they did, just that they got rid of the "visual mismatch" or whatever
regardless, it seems like a good update, but not as big as i had hoped, and it's slightly disappointing
that being said, good on valve for still supporting this 10 year old game with its whiny fanbase (a la reddit) and actually releasing something
im gonna test it asap and post it somewhere here. lets hope that new projectiles and visual improvements fixed it.
the thing is that it also applied to crossbow which didnt get fixed for sure so hmm
ehh, its good that they nerfed unlocks that needed nerfing, props for that. Thing is they didnt make any underpowered/not used unlocks viable at all, except mantreads.
also that engi buff in setup time, is it only applied when using rescue ranger? not sure if they misplaced that sentence.
still a great update
SearchlightHonestly, I could see the increased airblast strength be a bad thing for pyro in many situations. Unless he's already got you in a corner (or there are lots of death pits around), being propelled further might just help you escape more easily by airstrafing away.
this is actually a good point. i wonder if you will be able to kinda add to the distance after being airblasted even more by strafing away.
stronger airblast+more control from enemy player may mean that its gonna be worse in dm situation but great in denying.
its kinda nerfing flare gun even more since airblasted enemies are going to fly away further and be unpredictable. you will almost need hitscan on secondary. i wonder if they are going to change flare gun tomorrow.
i have a feeling they are going to add some ban/save mechanic for unlocks in in game mm that is going to transition to custom matches in 6s and hl. kinda like in 7v7 format.
just a feeling
