That's how I feel. I stopped getting my hopes up for news on HL3 after the Ricochet 2 interview, so if anything that gets me more excited for the next two announcements because I really have no preconceived notions of what they will be going into them (aside from potentially mentioning hardware/controllers, that seems a little obvious).
My girlfriend just upgraded her 4s to 7, and from an aesthetic standpoint it's way more attractive than 6. The animations are really cool, and they've overhauled a lot of things from a design standpoint. Performance wise it's not running nearly as smoothly as 6 did, the animations and window transitions are pretty stuttery. I can't say what it would be like on a 5, but if I had a 4s and the hindsight I have now I wouldn't have upgraded. Not having an iPhone has saved me from this though.

Yeah, the skybox is really low in v7 compared to ballin_sky. I haven't played much v8 bball so I can't say if they fixed that or not.

What's your WPM right now? I've only taken one java course so I can't speak volumes to the importance of typing speed with coding, but I feel like as a whole you'll be better off by learning to properly type. Even something as simple as backspacing can be done quicker when you're not moving your entire hand over to the backspace key but instead hitting it with another finger.
2sy_morphiendbut no one is going to complain if you are getting popped up and air strafing because it's meaningful to practice what to do when you do get popped.
Strafing when you're popped up like that takes a bit more skill anyway, since you have less momentum because you didn't jump+crouch.
